Hullo! My name is Laurel and I am new on the forums here.
I have been crafting with paper for about 2 years now. And have made some altered items and mini books and such. I struggle the most with 12x12 layouts. Examples of what I have done are on my blog, Snips N Scraps of Me, which is linked in my signature. I am starting to play with/learn about copic markers and piecing with stamps like the Julie Nutting dolls.
My background is in computer art and graphic design. I have degrees in game art and advertising art. And have enjoyed all things artistic since I was a child. In the past I have enjoyed crocheting and soap making as hobbies.
I am really excited to meet you all and learn more about scrapbooking and papercrafting.

|Posted: 5/3/2013 9:25:21 AM|Welcome to the pea pod! You will learn so much here on the general scrapping board and there are so many wonderful peas so willing to help, and give advice.
The only downfall I can see about this place is "watch your pocketbook". These peas are the biggest enablers on the planet. They're always finding new scrapbook products, Heck, new everything.... etc and you just get sucked in.
So yes, you'll be happy here? But you'll be broke!
