I have seen these around lately. Has anyone used them in their scrapbooking? What did you do with them?

I used a couple on cards to make flags but I haven't found a way to incorporate them into a scrapbook page yet. I'd love to hear what others say about these. They are so cute!

I am so glad someone brought up this subject. I saw them somewhere in the scrap dept and wondered what they could be used for other than "flag poles"

I've seen them on cards used as candles.

My (soon-to-be-closing) LSS had a make and take with some super cute paper bags and the straw as the spine. Loved it!

The straws make a cut handle or stick for a pinwheel.

I bought a colorful set at Target this weekend. Haven't used it yet, but I plan to semi- flatten them out and use them like a dimensional embellishment.

It was 1.99 in party supply dept. About 5 diff colors in one set.

I've only used them on cards before - as sticks for pinwheels. I really need to sit down and think about a way to use them on a page. I'm thinking that if you don't mind bulk they would be super cute all lined up against each other and then photos and embellishments built on top of the "layer" the straws would make.

Hmmm ... just might try that.

If they are biodegradable then how well do they hold up in a scrapbook?

Happy scrapping

I have seen a LO using a paper straw as the pole on a carousel horse. And on a malt shop LO as a straw lol
