I have not jumped on the wagon of the cameo yet because I do not have a laptop. Now that the portrait is out I am wondering why some of you have gone the route of the portrait. I have 3 friends that have cameos and I have never seen them print to the 12 inch capacity. Just wondering what some of the reasons might be to choose portrait vs. cameo.

I own the smaller machine, and while it would be really cool to cut larger shapes, I haven't minded the smaller machine. It fits well on my desk, cuts shapes up to 11" wide on the mat and larger for items like vinyl, and sits easily next to my computer.
If my machine ever does die, then perhaps I will upgrade to the Cameo; but right now the smaller size works just fine.
