Okay, so here is my question. Most of the files on the silhouette store, are they meant to be used as print and cut?

For example, if you google "singing birds" on the store site, is that a print & cut? It doesn't have the "p" next to it. So what am I supposed to do with it?

Sorry if this seems silly, but I am a newbie with the silhouette!!

If there is no 'P' next to it, it's not a print and cut. You would cut that out on any paper you want and if there are more pieces, you can paper piece them together. You can do all one color, or several different papers to get a different effect.

Thanks! So, in that respect, it is similar to the Cricut!

Yes, except the silhouette cuts so much nicer and and much more detail. But if you know how to use a cricut for this type of thing, you'll be a pro at using the cameo. You're going to LOVE your cameo!
