GOOD MORNING!!!!! Can you believe we have been at this a whole WEEK now???? GO US! How many projects have you gotten done? Are you having fun? Please do NOT let it become a chore and/or stressful, just have fun!

Today we are going to look at a basic and OLD supply: FLAT STICKERS

We all have them in our stash so NOW is the time to use them. You may ONLY use FLAT stickers on your project today. Let's bust into that stash.

Now you MAY pop dot/color/dimensionalize(is that a word?)/alter them but they must START as FLAT STICKERS, no chipboard stickers, no puffy ones, they may end up that way AFTER you breathe fresh life into them but they must START FLATTER THAN A PANCAKE! LOL!

Chat question:
Yesterday we talked about embellishments and a lot of us had issue with them and clusters. If you have any blogs, galleries, you tubes of scrappers that are GOOD at this post it here. Meanwhile let's talk TOPICS of projects, are you a card maker? Scrapper? Mixed Media artist? Home Decor? or a little bit of everything? What do you lean towards the most?

Oooohhhh...another fun challenge! It's funny to think flat stickers are old! lol- but it's true! Almost all of my stickers now are 3D or cardstock or something like that. But I still have flat stickers, lots of them and I can't wait to see what I can do with them!

Question of the day: I mainly scrapbook but I also like to make cards. I don't do them enough but when I do I really enjoy the process. And it's a nice change of pace from creating big LOs when I need a break but still want to be creative. I like to make projects for the holidays. For example I made these frames for Valentine's Day:

Valentine's Day Mantel crafts

It was super easy! And was fun to have some new decorations that didn't break the bank. My kids also loved it!

I'm a scrapper. I have been scrapping for 10 years. I do make cards but I am not that good at it.

I started out as a card maker (I shudder at the horrible cards I sent out all proud of them!) but now I despise making cards LOL! I would much rather make a page/PL spread/home decor than a card. In swaps I always ask for cards to be made FOR me so I don't have to do it LOL!

NKUMomma-super small world huh? I met hubby, married, commissioned and graduated college at WKU. I love your decorations, we do something similar for each season!

Since starting the Fauxload challenge, I've made 8 layouts and 4 recipe book pages for a total of 12 projects. The layout I finished last night took awhile because I made a file folder minialbum for it.

That layout completed the album for my daughter's junior year of college so I can cross that off my list. Now I just need to clear off a shelf in my scraproom closet or bookcase to place the album. That's a challenge in itself!

I have to count them but I think I have 6 or 7 layouts completed so far this month.

I still use quite a few "flat stickers" on my pages but they tend to be words or a combo of words/art. I think this one will be relatively easy for me.

I am mostly a scrapper; been doing it 15 years in July!! I occasionally make cards and in all honesty am overdue for a card making day. I try to keep a stash of very basic, all purpose cards on hand for birthdays, congratulations, etc.; my kids use them all the time and hence my stash is quite low. I have a ton of scraps so maybe after my LO today I will make a card or two.

Here's my LO for day 8. I enjoyed this one because I had lots of flat stickers that I had bought to do pages from our 2010 road trip to Washington DC over the 4th of July, but I've never used them! I just couldn't get inspired! Well, I think I found my inspiration! Thanks Crystal!

I used old stickers by Carolee Creations. I placed some directly on the page and others were backed on cardstock, cut out and then placed on the page with Pop Dots.

I'm loving finding inspiration in my old CTMH sketch book, Cherish. I forgot how much I love the look of my pages when I follow their sketches!

I'm finishing up my day 7 layout! But I can do this one, as i have lots of flat stickers.

To answer the question, I'm a scrapbooker. No altered art, no mixed media, etc I used to do lots of cards, had quite a few published too. BUT, I never used them as they didn't have sentiments inside, and I never knew what to write!!

Hope I can get some scrapbooking in tonight!!

First off I want to say, thank you Crystal for hosting this challenge & to everyone for the kind comments. I have completed more layouts in the past week than I normally do in a month. I have not been following most of the prompts, but have enjoyed just being motivated to scrapbook. Also, I've enjoyed seeing all the beautiful & inspiring layouts in the challenge gallery.

To answer the question, I have been scrapbooking on & off for about 10 years. I have attempted the occasional card, but am not good at it. I also enjoy using my scrapbooking supplies to create party/baby shower decorations & craft projects for my son's class at school.

Now, I'm off to work on today's layout!

I was on a roll after I finished today's prompt so I decided to keep going! Two more LOs for our Washington DC album:

The first is the cover page for the album. I played around with paper clips which made me kind of nervous but since it wasn't going to be opposite any photos I felt better about using them. This page is much bulkier than I normally do.

DC Road Trip 2010

The second is a page with just fun pictures of my sons and husband. It's super simple but I love it!!

I Be Ridin'...They Be Hatin'!

Thanks again for this challenge Crystal! I've gotten more LOs done over the past 8 days than I have in a long time.

I started doing Altered books, and then moved into Scrapbooking. Although I started going to Stampin'Up meetings to meet up with others, I have never really been into stamping. I have made a card or 2 but they're really not for me. I'm a Scrapper and a PLer but I dabble in other things too.

This is a good challenge to break out all those flat stickers I bought when I first started scrapbooking. I've finished 7 layouts since we started. I've never made that many in one week before so I'm pretty excited about that.

I've been scrapbooking for 7 years now and I also make cards. I have three friends who make cards as well and I usually only make them when we get together.

HEre is mine. I used all flat stickers from a collection pack but DD wanted to "splatter" like Mommy so I let her do the background, she had a blast! Nom Nom!

I am so glad you all are having fun and getting things done. Knowing you guys are counting on me keeps me going (plus all the awesome praise/love you leave me!) Yep I love the accolades LOL!

Hey Crystal! Thanks for the well wishes, I am feeling a bit better today. I just uploaded a couple for the May Challenge and one that crossed over for the NSD challenge and they both showed up in the correct areas, so I don't know what is going on.

Here is my page for day three, which was technique/time, I used the sketch function on my cameo.

you are my happy

and for Day Four it was the NSD Challenge and I did the sketch.

everyday love

This weekend I am catching up. DD's are away at college and dh is leaving early Mother's day for a trip. I am scrapping away.

I used left over flat stickers from when my dd's were about 7 years old and played soccer. (I keep everything). It worked great for a page about going to a Major League Soccer game with dd (now 23) and her boyfriend. (I did not do a sticker sneeze, but clustered them with other embellishments.)
