Are there any computer gurus here that may know if I can fix this?

In order to watch you tube videos, I have to download (work computer) & save to a thumbdrive.

I had a PNY 4GB that worked great, then all of a sudden, my computer stopped recognizing it. I got a new one and it worked great. Then one of the IT guys had to map a network drive for me and inadvertently used my E: drive. Now the computer doesn't recognize that thumbdrive, but will recognize other ones. IT guys have no explanation.

Both thumbdrives are still recognized by my laptop & android tablet and those read them just fine. I even tried re-formatting one of them on my laptop, but it still doesn't register on the work computer. Yet again, other ones work fine on the work computer.

Any ideas? TIA!!!

Is it not recognizing the thumbdrive or not reading the file type?
My guess is your work IT is blocking the downloading of videos but aren't being forthright about it.

It's not reading those 2 thumbdrives, but any others.

Thumbdrives show up as Drive E: when I open up Explore. With these two thumbdrives, it doesn't register any Drive.

I can still download and save and it recognizes other thumbdrives. So there seems to be a communication problem between these two thumbdrives and just the work computer. Both of these problem thumbdrives worked fine in the past on the work computer and now don't. IT even took one of the thumbdrives to their computers & their computer recognized it.

Such a mystery....
