If I were a guest on the PRT, first of all that would be amazing. Second of all, my pick of the week would be this Crate Paper Ephemera Pack from The Pier collection. I LOVE all the little pieces in it. It's a really great buy for $3.99.

What about you?

I would pick the MAMBI packs of 3x4 and 4x6 cards. They are so cute, great for Project Life, regular scrapping, and making easy cards. And with a coupon - pretty cheap for all you get!

If I were on Paperclipping Roundtable, I would be star struck I have no doubt.
My pick of the would be Lain Ehmann's class "Define Your Style: A to Z" and maybe the topic could be "Scrap with confidence", that class was a fantastic tool, so much fun! It really helped me accept that some styles that I can love to look at but aren't me. Now I love taking certain style elements and making it more me."

Fun thread! If I were a guest I would probably pray that Shimelle and Wilna were the other two... I would also like to talk (or vent) about scrapbooking not in the US, I feel like a very lonely scrapbooker here in Austria
and my pick (that's a tough one!) might be Heidi Swapp's color shine. love it! Or anything from the Crate Paper the Pier collection.

I'm not sure what the topic title would be but I'd like to talk about/hear ideas on scrapping on the go in a very small space. I'm the sole caregiver for my 90 year old father. We have spent 2 out of the last 12 months in the hospital or rehab. I do ok at first but then the challenge of scrapping/making cards on a hospital tray wears me out. By the end of the month I am just playing on my phone/kindle/laptop and just feeling lazy...

And I dont have a pick f the week. I haven't done any shopping in over a month.

Joanne - I'm not sure right now. I'll check when I get home from work. I would guess at least 30 different pieces. Maybe more. It's a really good deal!

If I were a guest on the PRT - first of all, I'd be telling everyone I know to listen 'cause I love it and I'd be giddy and I would want to talk about how people fit scrapbooking into their life because I still don't think that's been talked about enough on there.

But I would pick the new Simple Stories 12x12 Sn@p pocket pages coming out in July because they are supposed to be true 3x4 and 4x6 slots - no more trimming! SS Blog Post about it

LOL at this post! Yes, sometimes as I'm scrapping away, I'll use something and think "This would SO be my pick of the week!"

This week's pick is Jenni Bowlin Black Rhinestone Stars . I love these and use them like enamel dots. The black is versatile, and the star shape works well in a lot of themes, but is a little something different than circles.

I have been thinking about this since the thread first was posted. T this very moment, my pick would be May Flaum's Camp Scrap 2013. Basing this on hr previous Camp Scrap with was fabulous. I have no doubts that this one will be even better.

Am I the only one who has gotten used to the Paperclipping Roundtable episodes showing up on the website on Tuesdays? When I keep checking on Tuesday and it isn't up yet, I am so disappointed. I am like a kid, haha.

I would ask them to have a "where are they now" episode and interview some of the past amazing woman that once were quite heavy into scrapbooking.

1. Lindsay Ostrom- remember her wonderful lettering books?
2. Rebbecca Sowers - loved her vintage style and papergoods
3. CD Muckowsky - not from that far past but miss her layouts and loved her fun style and ideas.

This would be my pick of the day, I just got some in the mail and their absolutely adorable!

I heard about this thread on the Roundtable and had to check it out. Lots of great picks of the week. I am working with the Maggie Holmes frames now - they are fabulous.

If I were on, I'd choose the topic to be: things scrapbookers don't do or use anymore - just to talk about how the hobby has evolved.

And my pick of the week would be Stampin Up's newly introduced In Colors for 2013-1015 with yummy names like Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush. They have lots of great accessories in these colors too as well as Core'dinations 12 x 12 paper. See the whole shebang here. Stampin Up In Colors

Mine would be a little old...the MS punch with three butterflies (one larger one and two smaller ones). I've been using it a TON. It adds such a nice little touch to my pages.

I'd love to discuss "everyday" vs. "special occasion" scrapping. I've seen it brought up here and on other websites - what every day stories do you find interesting enough to scrapbook? Or people who think they have nothing to scrapbook because they're homebodies.

Personally, I don't distinguish between the two types of scrapbooking - in my head or in my books. I feel like every aspect of your life can be mined for layout ideas - what music you listen to, what TV you watch, what books you read, what games you play, how you access the Internet (tablet? smartphone? is it different from how you did five years ago?), your favorite lipstick, where you volunteered, etc.

All of these things record not only your personal likes (and dislikes!) but our culture as a whole. 2012? The year you couldn't go on Facebook without seeing a post on Downton Abbey. It was a cultural phenomenon. There were political cartoons about it, even.

Think about how much your personal style has changed through the decades - what you wore, how you did your hair, etc. What song is stuck in your head this week? What about last week? Last year? All these little details can be so fascinating to look back on. And if you document for your entire family and not just yourself, then you'll have all kinds of fun things to look back on. Yes, birthdays and Christmas and trips to Italy and other special events should be recorded - they're part of life. But I also think that we're more likely to remember them without scrapbooking them - it's the little things that we can forget about completely without a reminder.

ANYWAY, sorry for the long post! I guess I'm pretty passionate about this topic & I always think about this when I see threads like "my life is too boring for Project Life" or "what to scrap now that the kids are gone?" or similar. I just want to say that every life is worth documenting fully. If it's important to you, then it's worth recording.

As to the actual topic of this thread, my pick of the week: right now I am DYING for the Freckled Fawn enamel dew drops to be released! I love the idea of having enamel dots in one color family, rather than only available in mixed packs to match collections.
