So thus far I have not jumped on the SC Haters group. But today I got my June kit in the mail and this was the note on the top. "two of your label stickers were out of alignment in last months kit....oops we will look closer next time". With a flair button that says sorry. Ummmmm??? Does that mean that they are not making that right and compensating somehow??, I pd for these items but I can't use them and that's just fine with it!!

One would think that if they bothered to include that note in your kit, they would have also included the replacement label stickers if they planned to make it right.

They never seem to learn, do they? And how about the new star frames around their "special" customers' avatars on the mb? Does it remind anyone else of the Dr. Seuss story, "The Sneetches"?

I saw on the SC forum that is what they are replacing the labels with because they thought it would be "fun" and it was not cost effective to make new labels.

Why would anyone want a sorry flair button as a replacement? That isn't even close to the product that she ordered. When replacing an item that is out of stock you try to get something similar and then when it is back in stock send it out to the customer for free. That is good customer service practice.

I don't buy their kits, so I try not to bash their practices, but this is ridiculous. They should have sent you labels from another company to replace what they messed up or give you a store credit. Not a junky piece of flair that says sorry.

I think if the flair wasnt a sorry graphic and instead something cuter that would be versatile then not everyone would be upset! I see your point and I too got the flair and the labels.. But the only reason I can think of to why sc wouldn't just do a re print is because out of the whole sheet of labels it was only the 2 tiny tiny ones that were messed up.. It would cost them a ton to reprint another sheet just for those two labels and send it to everyone, but that badge was kinda eh! I think they should have sent some sequins then nobody would have complained since everyone seems to absolutly love sequins

Or just a small sheet replacing those two labels.. I understand your frustration because it is annoying, but at the same time I don't think it would be far to ask sc to send everyone a new sheet when it was only those 2 tiny labels.. IMO!

SC should have a reserve of money for when they do make mistakes. It not being "cost effective" is a lame excuse.

I guess it's just not cost effective to have quality control either.

I am not bothered by the flair that much. I wish the label stickers had been cut correctly, and that the alphabets that were messed up before had been cut correctly.

I really haven't appreciated April's posts about the issues, however. They should find a CS person with Lorie's skills and have them respond to posts and complaints.

If one of you wants rid of the blue sorry flair of be happy to take it off your hands. My little guy creates lots of opportunities in our daily life for me to use a sorry badge!

More seriously - I just don't even know what to say anymore. This company is astonishing in its last of respect, care, and professionalism toward its customers. All the little individual issues just this month alone would be enough to turn me off. Never mind the Big Stuff that's going on. I have another friend who received an incomplete stamp set. Seriously. How. Does. That. Happen.

@metallicchandelier I hope you emailed them and asked about the washi. They are getting away with too much lately and the sorry flair just another slap in the face for their less than satisfied customers.

I am so happy I am not a subber anymore.

Got it too.. mine is orange with white print. To be honest, I don't mind the flair and thought it was cute. I had to find the kit with the misaligned cut, since I haven't even used my kits yet and did not notice the mistake. Yes, two were mis-cut and that sucks but at least they acknowledged the mistake. Yes, some of you would prefer another sheet of sticker, but I understand where they are coming from with the cost of making it again. But come-on, they gave you something that is pretty popular right now, a flair button. Honestly, do you actually use all of the stickers? I know I have stickers in my stash that I can replace it with. Now on the other hand, I do plan on ending my subscription soon, due to the kit being rather thin compared to their first one.

^^ I use all my stickers.

From what I read somewhere that flair was made specifically for the issue hence the sorry and hence why everyone is kind of annoyed because if they had money to make a set of flairs they had money to make a sheet of labels. Or they could've opened up a package of flair they sold and sent one to someone from that, one thy had versatile design on it.

Just because it's popular doesn't mean everyone wants it or would use it. Personally, I have almost no use for flair buttons. Waaay too thick for my pages and makes shipping cards more costly because of the bumpiness. That said... I had a friend RAK me some out of the generosity of her heart and I want to use it because of that. So I figured out how to take them apart and just use the design so it's much thinner. I was happy I could use one on a page.

and non-generic? I, for one, prefer not to make layouts where I'd be using a sorry button. Maybe you guys that got one will have to play the game Sorry and scrap it just to use it.

I did send them a message about it, no word yet . This is the second time...last time it was wide washi too? From my Americano add on, the grey chevron

How do you take a message the way @devildog and kalaidescope did have and put it in your post responding to it specifically? Never figured out how

A LO about the trouble kids can get into, or a card with an apology note in it, or the LO I made a while back with pics of DDs playing in the mud, with mud all the way up to their knees. But they were careful not to get any on their shorts! A lot of uses for a "Sorry" flair, but replacement labels in addition to the flair would have been nicer.

I LOVE the sorry flair! Like many people say, life isn't always unicorns and rainbows and there are some moments in life that I can most definitely use a 'sorry' flair. I did not even notice the out of alignment labels and to be honest, am not gonna lose sleep over it.

The one I did is Basic Grey. I have some WRMK I got in a prize package but haven't tried it on those so I don't know if some are easier than others. I just stuck a palette knife/spatula under the edge. I have one that has a diamond shape so it has a rounded point at the end.

I don't think anyone is losing sleep over it.

I think the people who are not having problems like the other users are thinking we are complaining just to complain. But, we aren't. Every month it's something different.

misaligned labels, crooked cards, screwed up thickers, half empty mr huey's, missing washi, missing sequins, replacing items you purchased with something else without asking, etc etc. It's not about the misaligned labels. It's the fact that with every new month there is something wrong. And it shouldn't be this hard.

I think it boils down to a lack of trust. After reading all this, now I feel like I need to go through my kits with a fine toothed comb and make sure it's all there. I shouldn't have to do that.

There seem to be real quality issues lately, both in the kit packing and the items themselves. (Misspelling on one of the PL cards last month, stamps that don't stamp correctly, dented Thickers, misaligned letter stickers and labels, etc.) It's such a hassle to 1) have to comb through the kit and make sure it's ok and 2) follow up with CS about it and make sure CS *actually* responds and 3) keep tabs on whether they fixed the problem THE FOLLOWING MONTH when they finally send you the right item.

My day to day life is full of enough annoying "to-dos" without my scrappy stuff adding more. I mean, that's what I use to de-stress, so it makes no sense to keep paying for something that's making more work for me.

I am going to check it out and it the items are slim this month I am going to cancel. I feel like I get my money's worth at CT, but most months at SC I feel as though I am wasting it. I know I did with May. hardly anything in the box.

@Kayler - it might have been April's PL kit - the TAKE NOTE card has the word 'beautiful' at the bottom spelled as 'beautifil'. I'm not sure if i was the first person to report it to them, but they did send me an extra card the following month, which I appreciated.

With all due respect, sub-par products might not bother you, but when I pay for something, I expect it to be done right. If it isn't, I shouldn't have to wait a month for a replacement (to make it easier or more cost-effective for the company), or pay extra shipping for them to send it to me earlier; that's ludicrous.

Reading all of this makes me so glad I cancelled my sub after my 6 months was up in April. I loved the kits in the beginning, but they just got way too thin.

I was talking with my husband about all the SC drama, and he suggested that people make layouts about all the issues with misprints, missing items, etc. and it would be the perfect use for the "sorry" flair.

IMO, the mistake should have been fixed with the fixed labels AND the flair. That would be good customer service (and really, the flair shouldn't be a huge expense if they are made in-house). Overall, though, with the quantity of errors on SC's part that I'm hearing about, it MAY get to be expensive for them. Which should encourage them to remedy their QC issues ASAP.

Pretty sad, I'm a newish subber after being on the fence for a long time. I love the product and style, although the value is borderline (for me)and I am less enchanted after hearing how others have been treated.

I love how people who are unaffected or "not bothered" by an issue feel the need to comment to others about how they should feel. This issue doesn't affect me in any way (never subbed, never will) but I can still feel compassion for those now stuck dealing with something they a) did not want and b )now have less of what they *did* want. That it isn't the first, second, or third time makes it even worse. Especially from a company that penalizes you for "if you don't like it, just cancel".

If it doesn't bother you, great, good for you. We're all happy you're happy. I don't think you need to be a smart ass about it and say "Well *I* am fine with this, so everyone else needs to stop posting and losing sleep over stickers and paper!" like you're some great arbiter or what is and isn't a big deal. This is one of MANY issues for some people, compounding their frustration, and the last thing they need is to be handslapped for being frustrated. They need proper customer service and the products that they PAY FOR to be sent to them correct and on time. Period.

My stuff comes today, but I've already cancelled my PL sub. I am glad to be free (I waited the 6 months so I wouldn't get charged a fee).

I don't understand why people just accept the missing or poor quality items. You're paying $20+ a month for these kits. And if they leave out something you're just ok with it? Do you do that when you buy something at a brick & mortar store? Oh well, my LSS left that washi tape out of my bag but they charged me for it but, oh well, shit happens, they're only human. Really?

Also, the label sheet they have been sending the flair for wasn't just miscut on 2 labels for me, it was my entire sheet. Same with both months of the T&I alphas from the PL kits. They're unusable, they're so badly cut. And when people brought THAT up all they say is that they wanted a certain look so they accepted that the alphas wouldn't be cut straight. WTF is that?

I read that some people have been told they have to wait a month for their missing items or pay additional shipping...for a product they already paid for? SMH.

Well I loved the project life box. As far as the sorry flair I think it's cute. People if you are that upset cancel your membership.

Yeah because it's that easy. It's called if you don't cancel after 6 months of being a sub you get a cancellation fee. And if that's not an issue you have to deal with you have to deal with messaging them several times just to get cancelled. Every message you send they seem to reply back with "are you sure"

Glad you are happy with your stuff, but there are reasons many of us haven't cancelled yet. And several has have been there for awhile and are hoping it changes.

. Period.

Agreed. Over the past few months I've come to realize the people who do that are the little sheeps who wanna feel like the cool kids over there and will literally take whatever they get over there. For Christ sakes last month I read someone say if SC sent her a half eaten cookie shed love it. Hahaha.
