I haven't seen a thread by the frozen peas in a while. I've been preparing for another scrap garage sale and realized that I really need nothing for a while. I still don't have my stash organized the way that I want it but I am getting there. Anyone else spending the summer in the scrappy freezer and working with what they have on hand? I must confess my last purchase the past month was the PL midnight kit, journaling pens and page protectors... That about adding these elements into my existing albums. But after all the time spent preparing for a scrappy garage sale - I will definitely think twice about bringing stuff in...

Will I ever get to Buckethead?!

I'm considering freezing. My spending has been totally out of control lately. I made 4 orders within 2 weeks on here. I really need to just cool it for a while and enjoy what I have.

Where am I? Laying on a hot beach soaking in the sun (aka...I am about as "unfrozen" as one could possibly be at the moment). Hopefully I'll be able to cool the spending going forward into summer.

I'm in the midst of a craft room re-organization.
Not really scrapping right now- I'm 10 weeks behind in PL- I'm ok with that.
Trying to do 50 projects before I buy anything 'new' this summer. Or at least purge 50 things from my craft space, so there's room for something new.

I haven't been frozen in the past, but a few months ago, I ordered a piece of paper that I already had. Then I decided to freeze spending, since I clearly had so much stuff that I didn't know what I had. So I am frozen (except for necessities like adhesive) until sometime in the fall, TBD. I would be happy to support any others until then.

I melted. And Im pretty sure I went bad. I spent so much I felt I should delete my frozen pea from my signature. I need to go roll in some liquid nitrogen.

I've refrozen myself. I'd really to use up a good portion of my supplies before buying anymore. My only exception will be the new Simple Stories 12x12 divided page protectors. Aside from those and maybe some adhesive ill have plenty of supplies to scrap with this summer

I'm frozen...almost done setting up in my new scrap room. My entire budget went to organization supplies + xtra furniture. I have more than enough...can't wait to scrap from my stash & not waste time shopping.

I'm entering the freezer. I'm also settling into my new scrap room and need to work out where my existing stash will go before I add any more. My solution is to scrap my heart out while organizing so it'll be organized for easy scrapping. Just need to refinish a desk so I can get my sewing machine into the room.

I will need to buy adhesive soon and I don't want to stop my kit subscription, so maybe I'm simply in cold storage for a bit.

I'm sorta frozen... one foot in the freezer, one on the edge! I really haven't been buying anything so maybe I haven't been too bad. Picture processing mostly and binders for getting older pics out of boxes and into something viewable.

I'm reorganizing (again!!) and moving my scrap space within the next week as soon as I get DS's new room painted and moved. Then I can focus. I keep finding stuff I didn't know I had so I really to get organized and use what I have.

I'm edging back into the freezer now!

I froze myself today and canceled my PL monthly kit too. I'm a teacher and summer equals my season of poverty with only part time summer school pay coming in, so I plan to use up a good amount!

I am still mostly frozen. I still get my Citrus Twist kit but that is pretty much it. I have so much and I really need to use it. My DH and I are both teachers so I have way more time and way less money during the summer months. I am hoping to put a pretty big dent in my stash while buying only adhesives. Wish me luck!

I've gotten pretty slushy, even liquid, a few times this year of being frozen. But overall scrappy spending is down a lot, and with the exception of gifts (gift cards, birthday cash) I've stuck to budget (which is $20 per 2-week pay period). That lets me treat myself or buy a necessity, and feels way less deprived. And I've been scrapping quite a lot, which is the other side of this equation--USING the stash! When life is too busy, I tend to substitute shopping for scrapping, kwim? Plus I've found a couple of crop groups through 2Peas (thank you 2Peas!) and that is even more incentive to use, not spend.

LOL Debbie Peas.

I was doing great with my "exercise to earn it" program ... and then I tore my miniscus in the right knee and I've been off the treadmill for more than a month now. So as a pity party, I bought ... oh, we're pushing $200 in new border punches (the Martha Stewart dohickie that makes circles really grabbed me), paper, embellishments including new embossing folders, stamps I don't know how I'll use.

I am still mostly frozen. Lets say 90%. I purchased a $9.99 MS punch that I've been wanting a M's and used a 50% coupon. So I got it for $5. I am counting down the days when I go to CKC Lancaster so I can thaw out and shop freely. But right after that weekend. I'm placing myself back in the deep freezer until the end of the year. I NEED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Not even adhesive.

I just found out about this group and I need to join! I posted a thread last night about how I have more than PLENTY and will be frozen for at least a month. Not even adhesive, because I have plenty of that too.

Canceled my SC PL kit, too. Today I am going to go through my CC statements and try to figure out how much I spent on craft supplies this year. I have a feeling that will really motivate me.

The next time I'm tempted to buy something, I might just post what I want to buy to this thread and see if we can all come up with an alternative that I can use from what I already have. The idea of making it a creative challenge will keep me going longer than saving money.

I've jumped back into the freezer as well. Thawed a little before & during a 3 day crop I went to over Memorial Day weekend, but I've pulled my cute little knit cap back over my head and I'm crawlin' to the back of the freezer. Brrrr . . .

I'm here. I'm officially frozen again. I went over a year without buying anything and lately I've gone batshit crazy with buying. I am frozen as of today. I hope to do another year.

I'd consider myself frozen, but haven't been on the thread. I haven't bought anything for a long time (its usually maybe about $150 or less a year), but especially right now, we're in the process of packing to move into a new house, very much long awaited. All my scrappy stuff is currently packed.

I just posted in another thread about being frozen for about 6 months and since I've started shopping again I feel overwhelmed when I look for paper to go with pictures. Besides adhesive I'm going to freeze my spending until mid-August when I'll be able to go to a scrapbook store that's a few hours away. There aren't any in my area and I know I'll want to shop there. My goal is to get my 2011 pictures scrapped this summer with what I have. So I need to get really busy for the next two months and use this stuff!

I've never been a frozen pea. I know I need to join this group.
I sure could use some support getting on a spending ban and start scrapbooking again.

I would like to join this group too! I have way too much stuff and haven't been scrapping much lately! I've been shopping up a storm, however!
I need to freeze at least for the summer, create A LOT, and then see where I am.....

My goal for the summer is tow only pay for crops and not purchase any additional supplies (maybe I will receive some scrappy gifts for my bday). I spent hours last weekend preparing for a scrap garage sale. Once the 3 boxes leave the house I plan to start my summer stash organization project. I checked and I have 6 boxes of Atg adhesive so I don't need to purchase any... CK convention will be in jacksonville in Sept. so I plan to use that as my thaw date. Anyone else have "frozen" summer plans?

I desperately need a freeze... one thing that always gets me is thinking I'm missing out on something that I'll regret later. Like if I don't buy it now it will be sold out forever, or I'll regret it later. It's so silly!

I thawed in March -- bought myself lots of pretties. New page kits & a collection pack (or 2...) Had a new baby in April & I've been frozen ever since. Now I'm spending money on pictures of her adorableness.

I really need to schedule a day (well, part of a day) to scrapbook. I haven't gotten to in ages, but I'll have some fun stuff to work with when I get the opportunity.

I've been froze since last july.
Winning some goodies for national Scrapbookers day was nice to get in the mail
My daughter wanted a journal to keep for summer. We went to micheals and they had the recollections girl power large journal kit on sale from 29.99 down to 8.99. She was so happy.
Not sure if that breaks my freeze or not.

I felt like I was the only person posting on the threads for a while, so I stopped.

Instead of being completely frozen I've been trying to do X number of projects before ordering. I like that, it really motivates me.

I was part of that group, but there hasn't been a frozen pea thread for a long time.

Whenever I get pictures printed, I go through my stash and make page kits. Sometimes I buy a little ribbon or something to go with them but for the most part I can find everything I need in my stuff.

I did buy a couple of collections this spring. I love the Maggie Holmes collection for Crate Paper. I also bought some of the Bo Bunny Mama Razzi collection.

That's all I'm buying for a long time.
