So, I have a giant stamp shelf in my craft room. It holds the individual stamps I use most often. I have some other lose ones in drawers in my parts cabinet.........Then I have two shelves in my expedit stuffed full of stamping up stamps. Those are the bane of my existence. I love them but I really need those organized some how so they are easier to find the ones I want to use.

Any ideas anyone?

Rubber stamps I have in sterilite drawers (6 drawer ones. I have two stacked together.) divided by theme (animal, baby, fall/Halloween, Christmas/winter, etc) and clear and cling stamps I have sorted in binders by theme (journaling blocks, family, travel, etc). Inks I have sorted by color in another 6 drawer sterilite unit by color right next to my desk. I have markers, paint, and white cardstock in other drawers in the same unit. I have my stamp tools (blocks, cleaner, sponges, heat tool, clear embossing powder) in a basket on top of my desk. The rest of my embossing powders I store on my bookshelf in clear plastic shoe boxes by color with other items (ribbon, wire, twine, etc). Everything is easy to get to and put away.

I can't sort my su stamps by theme. I find it too hard to assign a theme to them. I like how the new wood mount boxes have the image on the spine so you can see what the set is like.
My clear stamps, pre-SU, are sorted by theme. I'm keeping an eye on suggestions here to implement in my room.

Have you considered unmounting your stamps?

I have all my stamps stored in many different ways. I have all the smaller wooden stamps in a two tier fruit basket that I found at Target. All my larger wooden stamps are in a clear three drawer organizer on wheels. I only use one of the drawers for the stamps. I don't have enough room to organize by theme. I have all my smaller clear stamps in baseball card sleeves in a binder by theme. All the other bigger clear and cling sets are hanging on my clip it up.

7 gypies

my wood stamps are in little drawers. this one from ikea ikea helmer drawer unit

I really like jennifer mcguires idea for her clear stamps. clear stamp storage

if you have lots of wood stamps and want to store them, I really like the drafting file cabinets, also called flat file cabinet. here is one place you can get them flat file cabinets

hope this helps

I have my clear stamps in a basket, organized with dividers.

I have them in sections, not really by "theme", but by purpose: journaling, backgrounds/borders, flowers, alphabets, birthday stamps, and then miscellaneous themed stamps.

My clear and unmounted (unmounted most of my rubber stamps except my House Mouse ones) are in CD cases by theme. I store them in Sterlite drawers. My wood stamps are on a shelf above me as I love to see those cute little mouse faces staring back at me.
