HI Aussie Two Pea fans,
Happy July
Is it winter in your corner yet? Was delightful in QLD today.
What do you have your crafting schedule?
I am off to CHA in Vegas at the end of the month and looking forward to seeing the new themes and colours.

Winter has hit with a vengeance here in RADelaide. Rain, cold temps and wind.

Perfect weather for scrapping in my toasty warm home BUT not for going to outside kids birthday parties like we seem to be doing every weekend.

Freezing our buss off in western Sydney. My husband found a huge chunk of ice on the slide this morning.

Scrapping wise thought I'd give masters a go. So just finishing off the details

Summer here where I am, but back home in QLD where mum is, its apparently freezing in the mornings (sometimes during the day also) and cold wind, with a few days here and there that are nice.

July 4th was my anniversary of arriving in the US. Missing home a bit still.

scrapping wise - well I had major surgery last week and am unable to do much at moment

have to get better quickly, as I am heading to Miami/Florida Keys in Oct/Nov not for scrapping, but hope to find a shop

Western Sydney was beautiful today. And I didn't even waste it on all the washing I'm behind on, didn't get to scrap though.....

One more week of school holidays here. Don't want them to go back it's so much easier scrapping at night when you know you can get a sleep on in the morning!!

Freezing in Canberra, but as long as the clouds stay away and the wind stays down, it's bearable. I hate the heat, but I don't like being cold either! Can't win

It was a beautiful day in Sydney today! I opened all the windows to let the warm breeze through the house (and thankfully remembered to get around and shut them all again at 4pm before the cold air came!)

I need to catch up on 2 weeks of Project Life, so that's on the To-Do list for this week, plus I've been on a card making fix lately, so I'm keen to get back to my desk and make some more! I love having a full card box!

We finally have summer here in Munich. Fingers crossed it will stay around for a while this time - we had 4 days of summer a fortnight ago!

My scrap stuff has had to go into storage for a few weeks, as we have visitors staying with us over the next little while and my craft room doubles as the guest room.
Today, we have one of my son's friends and her 2YO daughter arriving - they've been travelling Europe for a month or so an we are the second last stop before heading back to Australia. Then a week later, DH's brother is coming for 4 days - he is in Ireland and the UK for 6 weeks on a study tour and is fitting in a long weekend with us in between.

It is perfect here. The days are reaching 28 degrees and the nights are down to about 18 degrees. Love living in Darwin at this time of the year. There is always so much to do and the weather is perfect. Scrap wise, not much happening as it is too nice outside. But I have some that I have ot get done, so it is usually late at night when all is quiet in the house and there is nothing on TV.
I do have one complaint about being here.......there are no scrapping stores!!
Mandy - I am a bit jealous ..... I would love to be going to Vegas for CHA. Lucky you.

Definitely been chilly around Melbourne. Some nights it has been in the negatives, brrr. Trying to get back in the swing of scrapping. I reorganized and purged a bunch of things recently, so that has helped. I made up some quick its as well so I can grab and just start working. I have a 2 year old who wants to play with all my goodies himself, so I have to use my limited time wisely. Can't wait to hear all the reports from CHA Summer. Although, I am generally not interested in holiday or themed papers, I do like seeing the new lines.

I'm in qld. Nights are chilly but days have been ok. We just got back from an epic driving holiday to Melbourne and back via Sydney with 5 kids. They were amazing. We are all used to long drives from when we lived in Longreach central western qld. We sure did notice the difference in temps down south but did have lovely days, if you got out of the wind and stood in the sun.

My major craft tasks for the next little while is to sort all of the holiday photos and get them printed and prepare for my scrapbooking and card classes and my SU catalogue launch party. Lots of little gift bags to make as well as paper flowers.

I hate that the school holidays are over already. I love school holidays. We have an 11 week term this term so we're going to have 2 Verny tired kids in 10 weeks time.

Hey guys,

where do you get your photos printed? I had been using Snapfish, but I really don't like the quality all that much, so I just placed an order with Persnickety Prints as they ship international AND they had a FREE shipping code. They completed and shipped my order within 8 hours or so! So it is already on the way to me. I am hoping I like the quality. Any other photo labs you guys like?

Hi I am in Mackay Qld, weather is beautiful. Haven't done much scrapping lately but have really been getting into art journals with the aim of trying out the stencils, inks, paints that I have amassed over the years and sorting out how to use them all on pages. Lots of fun.

imPEAria good to know about Persnickety Prints do they print different sizes or only the standard ones - I want somewhere to print smaller prints cheaply

Have fun at CHA - I am going to plan a 30th wedding anniversary trip to coincide with CHA shhh don't tell DH

Hi Creating! Persnickety seems to cater to scrapbookers and they do all kinds of sizes including Instagram printing, printing 12 x 12 (for LOs), prints on all kinds of papers and so on. I don't think I would call them cheap, but the quality is supposed to be very good, and they do ALL sorts of sizes. They so also offer volume discounts, so the more you order of any size the better prices you get.

Morning Australia, what do you want to know about day one on the floor at CHA? Vegas is hot, Amy Tan is sweet, Becky is lovely and so many options that fit in a pocket page.

Hi,I usually just read but this is the first time I've noticed the Aussie thread...& amazingly there's someone from my home town of Mackay! Hello to Creating.
Starting to warm up after a brief winter, though coolish in the breeze after a couple of damp days. My scrapping has slowed down, though I do something scrap-related each day, even if it's just reading & dreaming of having ready access to new supplies. Am currently working most regularly on my version of PL, & PL-inspired travel albums, with an occasional traditional LO thrown in.
