|Posted: 7/7/2013 12:41:00 AM|My mojo is back for about 2 months now...so happy about that after a long scrappin' drought. I "made a deal" with myself that I had to create 100 pages before I can buy more supplies...well, the part about waiting to buy supplies didn't happen, but mentally I've stayed focused on getting 100 pages done...and I have 48 so far since mid-April. Tonight I was even using some Rhonna Farrer paper and some Nostalgique embellishments - old school and up late to boot

|Posted: 7/7/2013 12:46:44 AM| NSD jumpstarted my mojo for me. I've created about 30 pages since NSD. It also jumpstarted my buying, so I need to put myself on a freeze until I create another 30 pages.

are you ladies going to share your layouts

Always good to hear people getting their mojo back. I got mine after the last cha social on here

Way to go! I can't wait until I move so I can get my mojo back. Having all my supplies scattered around the house waiting to get packed is not the best environment to scrapbook.
|Posted: 7/7/2013 9:35:46 AM|Good for you! And yay on using up old supplies too, I've been trying to do the same thing

I have been the ultimate procrastinator on sharing layouts...will challenge myself to upload at least a dozen before the month is out (lol today isn't looking like a good day to start, I'm not home)
|Posted: 7/7/2013 10:11:52 AM|I just used a bunch of old stuff, too. On one layout I used fibers, brads and metal word tags, but that layout also had a Dear Lizzy tag, an Amy Tangerine vellum envelope and Simple Stories alphas. It was a hodgepodge of old and new.
It felt good to use all of that stuff!

I too, am back after a major bout of scrapers block. Recently I began my own version of PL using all those old supplies I "just had to have" at the time! It feels really good to use my stash and be crafty!
|Posted: 7/7/2013 12:54:38 PM|Good for you! I could never get that many layouts completed in such a short amount of time. I'm happy getting about 4 done a month.
Great job using your old supplies. Would love to see your projects. I'm working on a layout that's using up some older stash too - Autumn Leaves pattern papers from 2008, as well as Thickers from 2009. Who knows how old my Making Memories brads are. lol I only know how old this stuff is because it has the year printed on it. I know I've got older stash but it still feels good to use up some stuff that's more than just a few years old.

Glad you got your mojo back! It is a good feeling to use your stash. I took a really long break but my NY resolution was to get back into it and I haven't slowed down since. I have though been buying like crazy for making up for the last 6 years of not scrapbooking but will only do it when 2Peas have a 25%. I like your idea by doing so many pages before buying. I may try it out but small. 25 pages before I shop and 2 Peas must be having a sale.

Yay for getting your mojo back! Bonus to you for using older supplies as well! I love incorporating older supplies in my new. It makes for a very unique layout!
|Posted: 7/7/2013 2:04:35 PM|WTG! Finding the mojo is essential to scrapping happiness.
I've been incorporating old supplies with my Project Life.
Good way to use the stuff
Congrats to you on undertaking such a huge task- you're a smidge 1/2 way to 100 projects!

I was proud of myself for using some Disney paper circa 2001 this week!

Erin Lincoln wrote a book a long time ago called "Supply Savvy Scrapbooking" (I think! I may have goofed up the title a bit!) In the book she made 100 layouts using old supplies. It was for a challenge from her husband. She used things really creatively.
I've emailed her asking for a second book. I'd love to see more work from her!

I just used up some BG Dasher line this weekend, with some old MM Noel and FaLaLa embellies. Felt good!! Did 10 layouts total (not just the Christmas ones). Wish the weekend weren't ending so I could keep going.
Stash Dash count, goal of 50 layouts by NSD.

|Posted: 7/7/2013 6:41:46 PM|Good for you for being so productive! It feels so good to sit and scrap and get a lot of pages completed. And that is awesome that you're getting older supplies used to too!
People may not remember what you said or did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

NSD helped me get my mojo back too! Working on a 2009 album with supplies that date from the late 90s to present day. Watching Glitter Girl videos has changed the way I think about my stash and embellishments. I also excavated my scrapbook room and now it's a pleasure to be in there.

I didn't even know Rhona Farrer made paper! I love using up older products and making them look awesome. I've done a "no more shopping until you make # products" challenge too, it worked pretty well for me.
OP, I'm glad you are making pages and using your stash!
|Posted: 7/7/2013 8:56:14 PM|Wow! You're really hard on yourself. I told myself I had to make 5 new pages before I could order new stuff.
BTW, isn't using old stuff fun?? I just posted six pages on my blog where I used really old stuff. I even used a decorative bread tag from soooo long ago.
