I'm looking to make a mini album, but a larger one. I need to have alot of pages in it.

Would you make it stacked hinge? or accordian hinge?

I've never made a larger one but am trying to steer clear of the typical 3 ring method!

My latest mini album is 2 inches thick and it closes beautifully. I went to a print shop and got a 2 inch coil to use with the Cinch machine. It is perfect. The coil was long enough to use on a 12 inch tall book. It is the best thing ever.

My life is an exercise in futility but it's the only exercise I get.

My suggestion was going to be a coil too... If you don't like the look of the coil, you can coil everything except for the finished outsides of the front and back covers, adhere paper or fabric to the unfinished outside covers so that it also covers the coil (leave it just loose enough that the coils don't rub on this piece), and then adhere the finished outsides...

Sorry I can't link an example of it - it's not hard, just take your time and dry fit the cover pieces so all the sizes are good and everything lines up how you want
