I'm finally ready to take the plunge and am so excited I can hardly stand it. I've decided on the Midnight core kit. I already have an AC D-ring binder that I plan to use, and I have 2-3 packages of multi-layout page protectors, including several (WAMK, or AC???) that have 4x6 and 3x4 openings. So my question is - do I need to purchase PL page protectors to start with? I'd like to use some of my stash for starters, but if you expertPeas tell me that's a terrible choice, I'll listen!! Thanks so much! And, I'm off to A's!!!

It should work out without the actual PL page protectors.
Many companies don't make the 3 X 4 a true 3 X 4 (including the original Becky Higgins ones!) so you may find that you need to cut a tiny strip off the edge of the paper though. I think someone (was it a blog? a thread here?) did a comparison about what size the 3 x 4 slots actually are for a variety of different companies.

You are good to go! Pick up your favorite pen and start scrapping! That's the beauty of PL-you can have the basics and make a beautiful album. I use all different types/brands of pp and it all works together!

You have everything you need. I love my WRMK page protectors for PL. I don't have any other ones and feel no need yo buy any either.

And then some 'other' items that might be good support items, of course And I'm definitely using the clear plastic shoebox trick for my card storage. I have to head out of town for work tomorrow - wish I could stay up late tonight to get organized and start playing! I apPEAciate all your help!
