WINNER THIS ROUND----FRECKLED CUPCAKES!!!!CONGRATS!

Everyone is welcome to play! Pick a prompt and jump right in!

Prompts will now be open for two weeks!

I've decided to host a bi-weekly (twice a month) challenge thread here at Two Peas. The more you play, the more chances you have to win a small scrapping goody from me (and some others who are donating prizes!!) and the more pages you will get done!

Please link up your creation in this thread for a chance to win and I will also have a challenge box you can check during the upload process.
Look for **Stash Busters Challenge**

You can submit more than one page/project for each challenge so feel free to make use of your inspiration.

**You can combine all these prompts. Each prompt you use is good for one chance to win...so use 3 prompts on one layout = 3 chances to win!***

We all like to get comments on our pages so if you are playing along please try to find the time to return the favor!

**********************************************************************
Deadline for these challenges are MONDAY September 9th by 11:59 pm PST

Oh, excited about this challenge! I think I'll join this time. Are PL pages okay? And can someone give me the quick "how to"? Do I just upload my project to my "layouts" here and link it in this thread?

@cloud weaver.....upload your layout to the two peas gallery and then link it up in this thread by copy/paste the URL. Players will leave your project some love.

PL spreads totally count!

Welcome and have fun!

Hi, everyone.

I'm trying to get back into a regular scrapping rhythm again now with being back at work (and it's been a whopper of a first two weeks...) Anyway, this page came together reasonably quickly and easily today. I just love how these CP slide frames make for easy and appealing pages.

Prompt #1 (flair & buttons), prompt #5 (213 in 2013: Just Wow, 213 in 2013: Chasing Butterflies, Scrap Your Stash: Chipboards and Seeing Double: Don't Forget)

Hi, everyone! Getting to play again.

Marianne - I am in love with all the prompts. Fantastic choices!!

Here's one for prompt #3 and #5: hike

Went monochromatic, used a boy color (green), added a floral and dare I admit I set a time limit? I'm a slow scrapper so this took me 3 hours (from paper selection to finish the journaling).

Btw, figured out my printer issue (user error, naturally) and my journaling has finally made it onto last week's layout: happy hour

Oh, and I'm finally caught up on praise. Yippee!

Here's two more:

Using prompt #s 4 (banners) and 5 (time limit, repeating shapes, don't over think):
congratulations card

Using prompt #s 4 (literally a banner) and 5 (time limit, repeating shapes, masculine colors and don't overthink it):

Thanks!

Caught up on praise for this go-round! Great layouts, Girls! I have 2 photos, paper, and embellies picked out to do a monochromatic l/o that also fits the school-themed prompt. I also have a lot of ideas floating around in my head! No time this weekend to scrap (football season started) but hopefully in the next couple of days I will find/make some time!

Here's one for today!

Mother's Day 2011

It follows 2 seemingly opposite prompts. It is both a monochromatic page, and inspired by The Wendy Sue Anderson layout. What's kind of funny is that I knew I wanted it to be a purple layout and I remembered that I loved the design of the other one, but it wasn't until I was halfway through the lo that I realized I had chosen a Mother's Day photo and WSA also used a Mother's Day photo.

I also think there should be a tag that you can choose when uploading to the gallery : OPKM also known as Oldest Paper Known to Man.

Here is my LO for prompt 3. It's way out of my traditional way of scrapping, but I really wanted to use that paper. Princess

One more for tonight... This follows prompt 5 and it fits into a few two peas challenges. I sued the red/Kraft/black color combo for Janna's 213 in 2013, and glitter girl #85 to use something outside of the scrapbooking world to inspire a layout. My husband was actually playing here comes the sun by the Beatles this evening when it dawned on me to use that as the title for this layout.

Here Comes the Sun

There is journaling on a tag I added behind the layout, but its just too personal to share. The stamp says, "to love and be loved is to have felt the sun from both sides..."

Hi everyone,

Great prompts Marianne, I've had great fun this last week or so scrapping. I started subbing to Scraptastic and its been very quick making pages from the kit, and I'm pretty sure I'll have just about finished the kit by the time the next one arrives!

I'm enjoying seeing all of your LOs and how you interpret the challenges.

This is the last of a series for a museum outing that I wanted to coordinate. This is the In the Mood-Banners challenge. I wanted to pull in the PP I had used on the other LOs. They have much more of a mix of pattern than I usually do, but I like the series. My first try at banners and let's just say I took my inspiration from the video! I struggle with something that's new to me and this was no exception.

Here is a 2-pager for Prompt #3 -Monochromatic layout.

I started hunting papers and realized I have very few purple patterned papers. I had to use mostly cardstock for these, and old, old, very old papers. How can you have drawers and drawers of paper and be missing just what you need??

How many prompts can I fit on one layout...

This fits our monochromatic prompt again and 2 of the current 2 peas challenges...

I did pages like this for my first niece and first nephew, but never my daughter. Since her sister's arrival is supposedly any day now, I figured maybe I should get started.

Boy, I have been missing in action forever it seems! Retirement is incredibly busy! I have been making page kits for Scrapfest (just 2 weeks away!) so I haven't been scrapping. I probably won't get anything done for this round but maybe for the next!

I'm trying to get caught up on praise. I am amazed at all the talent you all have!
