I did a search before posting but came up empty.

How is everyone attaching their flair?

Okay, I'm outing myself as clueless here...

WHAT IS "FLAIR"?!? Is it just a trendy term for "embellishments"? Is it a particular type of embellishment (like "bling"?

Google gave me a lot of hits for scrapbooking software and websites/blogs using "flair" in a generic way.

I'll just slink back into my clueless cave now...

Flair is referring to the little tin pins people have collected for years to put on jackets, bags etc.
But now you can purchase them as paper crafting embellishments
If you click over to SHOP the twopeas store there are some on the front page. At least there were about an hour ago

Also, jcpenney was giving away little pins at Christmas. Do you remember those? That's flair

Foam dots work great for attaching them or glossy accents

Okay I will be dating myself because I am a first wave punk rocker. Back in the day we called those tin pins "badges" I still have the ones I pinned to my denim jacket. I scrapped all my Jam and Style Council badges on a "mod girl" page a couple of years ago before I knew that it was something trendy.

Thanx ladies. Didn't think about liquid adhesive - duh!

If using glue or pop dots, do you put them behind the pin? If not, does it make them stick up more?

Love the Jam, cherylstamps!

If it has a pin, I usually cut it off with wire cutters. Then use foam dot or Glossy Accents to attach it to my paper.

I usually cut the pin off to cut down on the bulk.

I add several layers of foam adhesive unless they are lovely flat back ones from flair for buttons where you have a flat back option and these just need a little double sided sticky tape

The first time I ever heard the pins called 'flair' was in the movie Office Space! Still cracks me up now... I love so many of the cute ones out now!

I am strictly a flat back flair girl from here on out. I add them to my LO using a ring of glue dots. I had a bit of trouble attaching the open back ones. I used both foam and glue dots, but they still felt a little wobbly. I gave some pinback flair to the kids in scrap club and my son took my extra Starbucks ones. (pinbacks)
