It depends on what product we are talking about. I tend to not like seeing the same embellishments on a variety of pages so using it means I likely won't replace it. But I still own it so I don't feel bad about using it.
mmm.. maybe I'm not a hoarder.

I'm happy when I use it!

Definitely happy, like the feeling you get when you cross an item off your to-do list!

Happy. Now I can enjoy it and it is no longer stored in an art bin.

Happy and usually will not replace it once I've used it because by then, something else has come along. lol.

|Posted: 9/7/2013 9:10:28 AM|With most of my stash, I'm happy to use it, because if I can't get an exact replica, I can at least get something else that's just as pretty. But when it comes to MME kaleidoscope and Bohemia, I just can't bring myself to use those last, few papers

It makes me happy to finally use a product I've been hoarding for just the right layout. Yesterday I finally used some BG Lime Rickey on a layout about my son with his friends at a lake. It was perfect because it looked just like ripples in the water.

Both happy and anxious depending on the product. For items that are no longer being manufactured, like Ghost shapes & alphas, I get a little anxious as I am using them. Haven't ran out yet though. Most items I'm happy they are no longer hidden in my stash but on a page where they can be appreciated by someone besides just me.

I use it and move on. I'm happy it's finally found a home.

Lately, HAPPY. A few years ago, not so much. Now, for gift albums, I may "plan" to replace a long-loved embellishment or paper, but it never happens once I move on.

I'm a little nervous at first to use it, but after the LO is complete, I'm usually very happy with the outcome. Sometimes I'll even buy extra just in case.
|Posted: 9/7/2013 10:35:18 AM|Since I scrap mostly to give as gifts, I will replace an item if I fall in love with it while scrapping it for a gift album. I then will use it on something I am doing for myself. I always buy alphas and enamel dots for fear that I will run out...although I am trying to be a frozen pea right now.

|Posted: 9/7/2013 10:42:09 AM|If I've used it for a gift album, I'll replace it (or just buy doubles at the start if I know I'm using it for a gift), but when using for myself, I'm just happy to have it in use on a page where I can look at it more often! If it's paper I really love, it makes me happy (almost giddy even) to scrap with it.

I used to hoard a bit. Now it all gets used and I love it. Also if I have company over for crafting, it's open shop. I do cringe every now and then when they choose a special item, but, in the end I prefer it get used rather than sit and take up space.

Most of the stiff I hoard is no longer made
When i use up something I hoard I'm very happy and don't replace it because I can't.
But I've gotten passed the being afraid to use it and just wanting my stuff used, not sitting in jars or drawers.

In years past, I wouldn't use it for fear of not being able to replace it. Or I'd buy multiples. I used to be very thrifty and minimalist when it came to scrapping but didn't hold back on the shopping.
Now, I since I have all these supplies, I buy fewer items and I try to use more supplies on each page. My goal is to use at least 2 "old" things from my stash on nearly every page.

I agree with being happy that its used but its so hard to use a product that is so versatile that it is no longer in th making. For example, the Jenni Bowlin rhinestone stars in clear, black or red. I LOVE these little stars and love adding them but have a nervous breakdown when one more is off the sheet and I'm left with one less.

I love using my hoarded papers and embellies, but I get completely anxious about not having it in my stash any more. What if it disappears from the face of the earth (as some things do in the scrapping biz)?? ARGH!!! Maybe I should keep on hoarding it a little while longer - or buy another of it before it stops being produced. ARGH again!!

I used to immediately run out and buy more, but really got to the point that I had (or actually have) so much of certain things that I could never buy any for a year and I would be good.
Right now I have more wood veneers than I know what to do with so when my supply of those cute little Studio Calico stars are gone, they are just going to be gone.
I am starting to get more satisfaction from using my stash then adding to or replenishing what I just used.
