I am wondering if I want to go electric on my die cutting. I currently own and use a Cricut. And I have (and use a lot) a Big Shot. The problem I am currently having is that I need to remember different 'sandwishes' for the different brands of dies. Some require a shim, some need to be face up, some face down, some just need a little tape in spots *sigh*

So I am wondering if I need to play that much if I bought an eBosser or will it truly cut from any die. Does anyone own one and how satisfactory is it?

Check their site. It looks like you still need to use different platforms and shims. They have some videos you can watch as well.

I have watched the videos on their site, but I wanted some unbiased opinion from someone who uses one.

Whatever machine you have will need shims, extra cutting pads or such, unless you are using dies that are made for that particular machine.

I tried one when they first came out and broke it on the first cut I tried to do. Their customer service was good, but I wound up just returning it. It seemed like there were a lot of bugs and I was really disappointed that I wasn't able to even complete one cut.

My daughter got one. I've only used it a couple of times. I like the large size, but I don't care for the noise it makes. I'll just keep using my Cuttlebug.
