I failed horribly at being frozen, so I went to a budget system for my scrappy purchases. I still get scrappy goodness, but in smaller amounts.

Today I scored a roll of black chevron Washi tape at T for .60 in the school clearance.

What have you found that didn't kill your budget lately?

NOTHING.. I'm a horrible shopper! I sent a budget for myself but yet I ALWAYS seem to go over whatever.. My bills are paid and I have a savings so really I'm only spending my disposable income.. I'd much rather have sb supplies then a new shirt (have a closet full of new clothes I hardly care about lol) but I have cut back now which I'm happy about

No deals as great as 60 cents... if fact i keep telling myself I need to stop spending and start using more. But the more i think this the more I've been spending. I just got the new PL kit and alphas, not even open yet and today I went and got 4 paper pads (all on sale) but still it was another $40.

Got that peachy deal too! Also found a bunch of hero arts background cling stamps and studio calico by hero arts clear stamps at two peas for under $4 each. The same order had $25 in sc product so I am also getting a free 6x6 pad of the thataway collection!

I really have to stop opening these threads! I just ordered the enamel dots too! I am justifying it because that is actually something I do not have ANY of in my stash. That makes it OK right? I just went yesterday and bought two of the paper pads at M's that were on special for $5...not that I NEEDED anymore paper!

I just don't try anymore, I figure as long as the bills are paid, we have food, gas in the cars, money gets put in savings and our needs have been met, what's wrong with spending a little money every week?

I don't need anything of course, but then again I went to do a layout tonight and couldn't find any paper that worked...LOL

I got in on that "peachy" deal, too! I have also had a lot of luck with the paper pads at TM and TJM-lots of AC to be found for around 5-6 bucks for a 12x12 pad-it did involve some store stalking, though, since my stores always get stuff about 3 weeks later than others...I now have paper coming out of my ears-just the way I like it

I sold some older stuff that I either had doubles of or knew I wasn't going to use and used that money to buy a few new things. I guess that's in my budget!

I had been wanting a glass cutting board. Found a great deal for $9.99 and free shipping a few weeks ago. I am no good at the frozen thing either, but like you, I limit my scrappy spending to $25 a pay period, so this was right down my alley.

Very sad I missed that deal as I have become addicted to dots. Then again, my wallet is not nearly as sad.

Yelise, the $25 a pay period is a great way to budget!

I counted my enamel dots stash a few weeks ago and it had hit 20+ sheets! BUT-almost every sheet had lots missing!

I am not a frozen pea but I love a bargain.....I got 3 rolls of washi tape at our Dollarama here in Canada for $1 and they had 2 different ones.....one pack was greens and the other pack was 3 animal prints....love them. Great bargain.

I also got stips (12 inches long and 4 to a $1 pack) of rhinestone that are adhesive. LOVE LOE LOVE them.....stocked up.

I love the smell of card stock in the morning.....

The Movie poster that is my avatar is very special cause my husband is in it and it won best film at the Canadian Film Festival in 2012. See it......It's super funny.
