|Posted: 9/21/2013 4:54:10 PM|Is that how it's done?
Can it be done that way, with divided page protectors?
I'm familiar with PL, but not as familiar with DD, but I think I'd want to make a Christmas-y/Holiday album in a PL format.
Does anyone do that?

Sure! You can do whatever you want. There are even Christmas-themed PL kits by Becky Higgins. And the Studio Calico kit this year is basically a SNAP album.
Divided pages are a great way to go.

I don't see why not. What with all the different product lines and page dividers, you should be able to put together anything you want.

Good thing there are no rules to scrapbooking! I think one of the Becky Higgins mini albums would be perfect. Simple Stories just released a new Christmas line designed to be used with divided protectors.

Why not! You can do it however you want. If you wanted you can do it with snap pocket pages in a smaller six album, or add it right to your album in 12x12 pp.
I plan to use BH mini album and the Merry & Bright kit to do mine. Then I can keep it simple or add whatever other embellies I want. I'm pretty excited!

I think that's what I'm going to do, just use PL Merry & Bright cards in my regular Project Life 12x12 format. I'm also slowly going back to past years' Christmases that never got scrapped and making a whole red WRMK album of just Christmases using PL-type cards and the 12x12 PL format.
Anyhow, yes ... you sure can do it that way! You make the rules.

if i do a DD this year that is what I will use. Its too much for me to make and keep up a DD any other way. I only finished one of the three I started. I love the one I did but for me that time of year is too busy.

I'm going to use baseball card pocketed pages for my DD, and insert it into my regular PL album for December (I do PL monthly).
|Posted: 9/22/2013 11:16:25 AM|I'm using the Merry and Bright PL kit for my December daily this year. I made my own last year and didn't get much else done during the holidays. I want simple and quick this year.

If you're doing PL, I think it's a brilliant idea to do the December album the same way.

I think I am going to do dd in my project life album this year! Last year I felt like I was repeating myself. I did the dd album with highlights of the month. But I didn't want to skip those those things from my PL, especially since I do it monthly.
