This thread made me want to look through my stamps and stamp a bunch to have on hand as embellishments.

I stamped a ton of different images, most fairly small, an inch or two, and cut them out while listening to music and watching youtube scrpbook videos.

I uploaded four 4x4" layouts that will go into a Project-Life inspired kind of album into the gallery here, to show what I did with stamped images used as embellishments.

Has anyone else stamped out images to use as embellies? Please show them if you did!

I don't stamp things out ahead, but I do try to keep those kinds of stamps handy. Like tickets. I never found a ticket stamp that I didn't like. I keep them handy so I can stamp them in an appropriate color for the layout. And I have been collecting other versatile stamps lately for using on layouts. I just haven't stamped a bunch of stuff ahead of time. Storage of stamped images is kind of limited for me at the moment.

But if stamping them ahead of time works well, maybe I should try it. I had to pull together a quickie card at the last minute yesterday, and some already stamped images would have come in handy.

I'm doing this right now. I'll try to post a picture when I get them finished. i'm also heat embossing some of them and with different types of inks with varying degrees of success. Which inks are your favorite for stamping detailed images?

I've been adding stamps to my collection so that I can create some embellishments.

I love being able to make my own elements...tying them in to my page or project.

I plan to stamp some and do some coloring and embellishing. I love that you can customize them...adding different layers or different ink colors...etc. The possibilities are endless!

Thanks so much peas for getting these ideas out there for all of us to use, I will be watching this thread for even more ideas.

Also don't forget about digital stamps...there are lots of free ones on-line.

Thanks for sharing, I didn't even think of using border stamps like that.
