I use a blue corner rounder from Marvy Uchida, semi-gloss photo paper, Staz-On black ink, washi tape, and an office store date stamp, plus lots of old stash -- stickers, patterned paper, etc. Oh, and label stickers.

I like to add paper stuff from the places I've been to to dress up regular cardstock PL sized cards. Off the top of my head, I've used business cards, receipts, cardboard Starbucks sleeves, napkins, ticket stubs, etc. Pretty much anything paper with names are fair game.
I have both a 3x4 and 4x6 die so I can easily make my own PL cards to either dress up or as filler. Or, I can cut down some paper stuff (say a store bag) to fit a pocket. As a cardmaker, I have no shortage of cardstock and paper pads in my scrap room to use so the dies are well used.
I also use screen captures from my iPhone for weekly weather forecasts (when I remember to take them early enough to get Mon-Fri), maps, or album covers of what I'm listening to. These standard shots also help if I'm light on pictures for a spread.
|Posted: 10/4/2013 8:13:52 PM|For me, the list is much shorter of what Becky Higgins products I do use. (1) the page protectors (2) recently, I did get some of the albums when Michael's had them on sale) and (3) Dividers (just to sort my variety of page protectors). Until that sale, I used American Crafts and Recollections albums.
I make my own cards from my own stash (and it's fun for me). I even print my own grid cards/grid paper (on the back of "ugly" scrapbook paper). I just have far too much paper to purchase one of the BH kits. Plus I go monthly instead of weekly so one of those Becky Higgins kits is far too many cards for me.
I also buy other brands of pocket page protectors. I use Becky Higgins too, but I also use Recollections (Michael's), Me and My Big Ideas, and American Crafts (maybe one or two others).
I also use 6x6 pads and cut them down to make inserts. I think I am all set for years to come, with no need to purchase much more (something I really like about "Project Life."

I use paper from my stash, the HSN kit I bought, washi tape, ink for the edges of paper, letter stickers, and whatever flatish embellishments I have around.
I just don't see why people think I'm too patronizing (that means I treat them as if they were stupid.)
