We moved several weeks ago and I just went today to our old house to grab stuff for the crop. I don't even know if there are pics in my bags! If I can't find pics I will probably try to organize my paper and visit! I do have a few stamp sets I could do cards with. We will see!
Is It Spring Yet?
|Posted: 10/4/2013 10:24:46 PM|I'm at a retreat this weekend that I helped organize. I just tossed boxes in the car, without looking too closely, and it looks like I am now just going to make a fleece blanket and chit chat.

I know that feeling! Hope you found something to do and you are just having fun. With a recent move, a little bit of scrappy socializing is a good thing!

You could use your stamps to make embellies for your pages....just stamp and cut them out. I have seen a couple of posts here about that and I am so gonna do that too.

You could definitely do some cards. And if you have your camera phone or a computer available you could send some pictures to be printed at a local Walgreens or other drugstore. I have done that many times when I end up not having a chance to get photos printed for a long crop - 12 hours should be long enough to send some photos to a 1 hour photo lab and get them and use them for the crop.
You can also probably borrow a lot from people. Most people over pack for crops or bring stuff they want to sell or giveaway. If you're not overly picky about using new products, etc. I bet you can get enough stuff from others at the crop to make several pages. Everyone tends to have a few sheets of cardstock and some pattern paper sitting in a crop bag that they wouldn't mind giving to someone. Scrappers tend to be friendly like that.

Enjoy your being surrounded by all the creativity. If you are stuck for something to do, try making embellishments from your stamps. There was an entire thread on doing just that. Enjoy your crop

So, I ended up finding a few pics that I did two LOs with and I organized all my cardstock & cardstock scraps. I also made a few thank yous that I can use for several of the housewarming gifts we have received. Oh, and I ate and socialized, of course!
