We were out of town yesterday (2 hours away) to take DH to the airport. I took the time to stop at a LSS and Michaels. I picked up some fun scrapbooking stuff and a couple canvas boards that I plan to mod podge photos onto. It was fun to shop at actual stores vs. online.

I totally get your post! I miss shopping at real stores where I can see and touch the things before I buy them.

I really miss being able to go to LSS for the latest supplies out and like you all said-being able to see and touch before I buy. I have bought things online and when I got it thought to myself, that isn't exactly how I thought it would be. But there is also something great about buyin gpretty stuff at midnight in PJs from the comfort of home to.

Agreed! I love being able to just wander around and see things "for real" You just don't get the same feel for it online.

We don't have a LSS here, and I don't on-line shop.
So when we go away and I find crafty stores, I go a little crazy and buy up half the store, lol
But since those are the only times I really buy supplies, I think its fine

That's how I felt on Saturday when I went to the local Scrapbook Expo! It was like *FINALLY!* I get to see things IRL! And, interestingly enough, I passed up the brands that I usually like (didn't like the colours) and got some things I never would have thought of. Funny how that works.
