And I am bummed. No Birmingham AL, and no Nashville, TN!! For us folks in the deep South there is just no close option. Seems like they are really condensing these down after having some new locations last year. Must not have been successful for them.

Here's the CKC 2014 Schedule from their facebook page.

Quite honestly I was wondering if this would be the last year for CKC.

Quite honestly I was wondering if this would be the last year for CKC.

Same here. I go to both the Bellevue and the Portland each year. They have gotten smaller and smaller each year the past 3 years.

This year will be the first year in 9 yrs that I've missed the Bellevue one, so I'm glad to see both of them still on the calendar for next year!

I was hoping that maybe they'd come back to Louisville next year. And not even one in Nashville... Wish things could be like they used to be....Maria

I wish it would move back to Valley Forge from Lancaster, but at least there is one in the area.

Wasn't sure they were even going to be held next year either. At least St. Louis is still on the schedule. Will probably still go even for just a girl's weekend.

No, Chicago, IL 2014 date, which is disappointing since I supported heavily, but I did suggest that they move to Schaumburg, IL if they return in 2015.

In 14yrs of scrapping, I've only been to ONE CKC when it came here to CT. Reason being, is I go to a long weekend crop in January and don't have the funds to do another weekender. I'd like to go to the one in NH next year, I need to see how far it is from me, even if I go for just one day.

LisaD, I live near Birmingham and was happy to see CKC finally made their way here this year -- enjoyed the show -- but really not surprised with the print magazine going out of business that they are not coming back. I'm actually surprised they are still doing CKC at all.

Maybe CK should get a booth at the Scrapbook Expo shows.

Cincy was worthless last time I was there...and even though ST Louis isn't bad it's 8 hours away.

I hope it's because they're bringing a CKU to the deep South!

I was told back in September by the people at the CKC booth that they would be returning to San Marcos, TX in 2014 but they didn't know what would happen to CKCs after that. I didn't buy much at all this year and that was shocking. I would love to see some well known vendors come to San Marcos next year but it seems they don't do shows much anymore.

I wish I could have gone to one when they first started. They had CKU's here but CKC didn't come to SoCal until a few years ago and the convention was so small and had so few vendors that I only spent 2 hrs there. The Scrapbook Expo is out here a three times a year and is much better.

No Hampton Roads, VA this year I'll have to go to Lancaster I guess..

My choice is to not take it personally - people have opinions. Particularly people here.-Peabay 12/29/11

Kind of sad they don't even have it in Salt Lake City. At least there's the Scrapbook USA expo.

According to a vendor that goes to all CKCs, they are dropping the poor performers & trying to build up the strong shows. By having fewer shows, they can give deals to vendors to attend ALL shows & it's not as taxing on them.

That being said, if you want CKC to continue, you better make plans to attend one!

My biggest complaint is the fee to shop! Usually I take classes & get a free class. Wasn't able to do that last year & was shocked that it cost so much just to spend money!
