If you don't have a blog, do you use twitter? I hear that twitter is mostly bloggers and brands and was just curious.

I do not blog. I have a Twitter feed, but I have only ever sent maybe 3 tweets? I mainly use it as a news source/to read other people's tweets.

I don't blog, FB, instgram, Twitter, Pinterest (have pinterest and pinned one thing) and have no desire to. This is my only social media site and that's enough for me. Not interested in everyone knowing every detail about me and my family. It seems nothing is sacred anymore.
Once you put stuff out there on the internet its out there FOR LIFE...FOREVER.
The funny thing is when people look at you like you are the crazy one because you don't have all these things. "OMGoodness, you don't have FB".

I don't blog, and I'm not on Twitter. But I'm also the odd freak out and don't have a Facebook either.

I don't blog. I don't Facebook. I don't Twitter. I do have Pinterest. I just signed up for Good Reads because I am voracious reader. I also wanted an easy list to find out about author signings and new book releases. I have Flickr & Instagram that I mainly use for my dolling.

I rarely blog but I read a lot of blogs. I only have a Twitter account to enter giveaways.
I am on FB and Instagram. I love Pinterest so I don't have to print out or bookmark all those ideas.

I have a poor, neglected blog, but love to read blogs.
No FB, twitter, instagram or any other social media. I do like pinning things though.
Not really sure I understand twitter. It looks like you're only getting half the conversation.

No blogs. I do have a Twitter account that I don't ever use. I have Pinterest that I might use every couple of months. At one time I would get on FB everyday now I am lucky if I do since I work full time. When I do have free time to be honest I come here.

I don't blog. I also couldn't tell you the last time I read anyone's blog.
I do have FB, Twitter, and Pinterest. They serve very different purposes.
I use Twitter to RECEIVE information about products, places (for travel), and entertainment options. I follow, for example, the official Twitter for a show and some of its actors and it helps keep me informed about the show (especially nowadays when the schedules are so wonky). When I am traveling for fun, I always follows various travel Twitters for that area starting a year or so in advance and I've found out some really good info that way. For example, when we were planning our trip to London, I found out about MacBeth at the Globe via Twitter and was able to snag tickets thanks to that. Before I got onto FB, I used Twitter to communicate with people as well.
I use Pinterest for two reasons -- one to amuse myself by looking at, say pretty vintage clothing or wedding cakes or humor and two to look for craft ideas, recipes. I occasionally send a pin to someone I know if I feel like they'd be interested.
I started using FB because it became clear that if I wanted to keep in touch with anyone under the age of 70 in our families and almost all of our friends, I HAD to use FB. I realized this when I was the only person who didn't know my niece was engaged. It was clearly a mindsest of, "I'll tell people on FB and anyone not on FB, well, it's just too much trouble." That's the prevailing attitude. People were truly committed only to FB as a form of communication.
|Posted: 10/23/2013 11:40:45 AM|Okay so include me as a "weirdo" too because I do not have a blog, I do not twitter, no instagram, and no pinterest. I barely joined facebook a few months back but only for coupons. However, I do like visiting people's blogs and pinterest boards for scrapbooking and decorating ideas. Other than that social media is pretty non-existent for me and I like it that way.

I guess I am somewhere in the middle. I don't have a blog or Twitter. I set up an Instagram account, but never use it. But I do use Facebook and Pinterest. I wouldn't know what my family was up to if I didn't read Facebook. LOL. I don't post much, just read. I belong to a few scrapbook pages on there and it is how I communicate with school friends and folks I became friends with on a cruise a few years ago.

I no longer blog, never tweet but I receive tweets by text. Our schools, church youth group, etc, tweet quite bit. It's great to get a tweet saying team bus will be returning at X time, or band took longer to load so they are leaving an event later than scheduled.
When we had tornadoes the principals tweeted parents to delay pickup because they were still in duck and cover mode.
