So I'm ready to throw my hp photosmart 8750 out the window and I'm in search of a new printer. I called canon and they have the pixma ix6520 that will print up to 13X19 photos. Any thoughts, opinions, reviews on this printer? I like being able to print on 12X12 scrapbook paper and larger photos for home use--nothing professional, but I do want professional quality photos. Thanks in advance for all your help. I've never used a printer from canon so I don't have any experience with them.

anyone have any thoughts on the canon pixma printers? I did a forum search but didn't find anything. I don't know where else to ask. Thanks!

I don't have the large one but rather a standard Canon Pixma and I'm very pleased with it. It's wifi-enabled and I can print from my laptops, iPhone, etc. Print quality is good but I tend to send to Costco cuz it's cheaper and near me.

I have had a Canon Pixma for many many years and really enjoyed it, and I always print my photos at home. When it was time to replace it last month I did not hesitate and bought another Canon Pixma (but it is a different model)... the photos are still top notch for me... HTH!

I have the iX6520. I bought it as a backup for my Epson Artisan that absolutely refused to print on orange peel cardstock. It made me crazy, so one day I bought the Canon. I mostly only use it to print on the orange peel, but the few times I've printed pictures on it they turned out great. I've been very happy with it and it hasn't refused to feed anything I've put in it yet unlike my Epson.

Love, love, love this printer. Bought it this summer and it's performed wonderfully since the moment I set it up.
