This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges on 2peas and is a fun place to come chat with other scrappers.

1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. Mark the box for Pokey Peas as you post your layout. Put a link to your layouts on this Pokey Peas Thread for November 2013. (If you don't know how to post a link, leave a note to me on the Pokey Peas Thread or peamail me and I will help you.)

2. This can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items.

3. Please leave praise for others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts.

4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or a dozen. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new Peas.

Please contact me with any questions.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!

The link for last month's thread is HERE.

The Challenge blog where all November layouts will be posted is

HERE.

When you post your layout, please excuse the "Noverber" instead of November in the Check box. My fingers must have been on vacation.

P.S.Debi, I'm sorry you are hurting again. Don't hesitate to get back to the hospital. You don't want it getting worse. (said in my most authoritative grandmother voice!!)

Thanks for the new thread Nylene! The scent of pumpkin pie and cinnamon is in the air. I am getting ready to hit my scrap room and work on a layout of Maggie's Trick or treat. They had it here last Saturday, and they are having their parties at school tomorrow. Anyway I have pics already printed and paper picked out for Maggie's.

Debi-I am with Nylene-if you need to go back to the hospital please go. Those boys need you to get well and sooner then later. You can't risk it.

Well maybe I will be back later with a page to post.

Hugs, Cindy

YES grandmas (said with my eyes rolled)! LOL

Actually I am feeling better this morning--more energy and the pain in my back has subsided. Still crackling when I breath but suspect that will be around awhile til the pneumonia is eradicated. I understand I need to keep myself as healthy as I can, but sometimes when you live with a chronic illness, especially one which increases your tolerance to pain, it's hard to determine when the medical symptoms warrant urgent care (which can be disastrous). I'll try to be more vigilant.

A new month. less than 2 months til Christmas...if I only had a way to bottle time and money....

Hi Peas! Where is everyone???? I hope you are all well and just busy! Not much going on here today. It is cold and windy and raining off & on! I made sauce for lasagna today-heaving Kellie's birthday dinner tomorrow night. So the whole family will be here. I finished scrapping Maggie's layout and will link it at the end.

Debi-glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Just take it easy and take care of yourself. Scrap that is not too stressful!!!!

Here is the lo I did and hope to be back later. Raven

Oh and Jana's opened her new site today. She is even designing products now! Here's a link if you want to check it out! Passion2Pixels

Been up nearly 6 hours and not feeling dog-tired. That's progress.

Now to see if I can drag myself away from my book and actually go downstairs and straighten up my living room.

Wishing everyone a fun Friday. Hope you all had fun on Halloween. It is warm and sunny here. Just when I thought Mother Nature was getting the weather right it warmed up again. No complaints but just ready for that chilly Fall feeling.

Nylene- Your latest lo is just beautiful. That pic of your dgd is so great. Was it professionally taken? Wow! Oh, regarding my Christmas cards, I've taken a break. I was disappointed that my mojo and inspiration froze but I guess sometimes creative things have to sit awhile until you figure out what it needs. Right? So, I have been drawing and painting until I figure those cards out.

Also, with all my hair, I am sending you some vitually! You'll just need to dye it to match your hair color! LOL!

Cindy- Growing out your hair, wow! Look Heidi Klum! I can't wait to see your new advatar with your new do.

Debi- Glad you are feeling better. Enjoy the rest!

Yeah, where is everyone? I hope busy enjoying life. Take care all!

Kelly,

Also, with all my hair, I am sending you some vitually! You'll just need to dye it to match your hair color! LOL!

LOL, I'll have to dye it gray! I'm getting more gray all the time. The photo of Alyssa was a professional photo. They had some photos taken just a few weeks ago and 6 mo. ago. They bought the files so I'm just getting around to scrapping some.

Cindy, wish I could enjoy lasagna with you. That's one of my favorites. Happy B-day to your DD. I'm excited to see your hair grown out. That will be a change! Be sure to post a photo when you are ready.

Debi, hope the feeling better continues. Take it easy. It's ok to leave your house a mess. Just read and scrap and do restful things.

I have 5 little children here waiting on dinner to finish cooking. DD reached Hawaii safely. They flew through Seattle instead of LA. Thank heavens or they might still be sitting. Gotta run.
Hugs to all of you.

Oh boy Nylene you have your hands full but I am sure you are all having a great time! We know how your DGC love it when you come or they spend the night at your house. My hair is really gray and pretty much white on the top and front. I would color it but I would hate keep up with it!

Nylene I wish I could have all you Pokeys over for dinner-if I could I would love to make you lasagna! It is Kellie's birthday and I will tell her you sent her best birthday wishes.

Anyway here's a fun layout I did about Bobby's changing personality. He is such a love bug and sweet boy but I have been seeing a little more fun loving side to him recently! All done in fun!

Neener, Neener

Have a great weekend everyone!

Managed to stay up most of the day and did get some of the housework done. I know it's ok to leave my house a mess; kids and I can deal with it but my very fussy SIL is coming to visit and I just won't be comfortable if the house is a total mess, so I picked up what I could. It will have to be good enough.

NYLENE I got your card today. What a fun surprise and I absolutely love the design. I will have to copy that one. Thank you for caring.

I did a bit more than I should have since SIL changed her plans from coming on Sunday (giving me longer to straighten stuff up) to early tomorrow. I'm sure she has no idea how much more stress that added, but I know she's trying to be nice and see how I'm doing. She's a nurse ( now educator) and works at the hospital where I was vacationing, although she was off for a long weekend while I was there.

My older brother from Texas called me tonight. I was really surprised to hear from him, as we don't stay in touch much, but he heard from SIL that I had been in the hospital. It was really nice catching up with him.

So now that SIL is coming early, maybe I can spend the rest of the day scrapping for iDSD. Or just relax and get better.

Kelly I can't imagine having such luscious thick hair as yours--mine is baby fine and wispy.

CINDY how long are you going to grow your hair? I'm thinking about having my cut shorter again-easier for me to care for.

I need to rest. Catch you all later.

Good morning! I have been awake since 4:15 grrrrr . So toi make the best of it I am on the puter playing around.

Debi-My hair for me will be longer but for most people it will still be short! I have worn my hair the same way for at least 20 years.
I am letting my my ears grow out as I say and heading for a short bob. I am almost there. Something similar to this

Maybe a little longer. Ok I will be back later. I am getting hungry and need coffee!!!

That's really cute CINDY...must see a photo when you get your hair to the length you want it.

I'm taking it easy today. Pretty tired-did too much yesterday. My joints are complaining. SO now I'm back upstairs wrapped up in my heated throw probably headed for a nap.

It's very cold, windy and rainy out today. Lots of downed branches and leaves. Every time I open my front door I have to sweep up the leaves that come blowing in, so for now, I'm leaving the door closed.

Have a good day.

Good Morning Peas! Hope you all enjoyed that extra hour of sleep last night! I did- I was really tired. Kellie's birthday dinner was a lot of fun last night. I made lasagna and her cake was chocolate with Nutella filling and seven minute frosting! Maggie spent the day with me to help with dinner and the cake! After everyone left I sat down nad did a digi page for this wek;s challenge at Jana Morton's new site-
Passion2Pixels Th challenge was to use this word art I dream of pixels. This was my reply:

I dream in pixels

I hope every one has a great Sunday, I am going to go have coffee, watch a football game and scrap. Oh yes two of my teams won yesterday! I hope the Browns can win today. We play the Ravens which is a rivalry that we have lost the last ten times. In case I did not tell you they changed our quarterback again last week. Oh Yoy! BBL

Good morning

Cindy, Nylene and Debi, are you feeling lonely on here, you three are the only ones (plus a post from Kelly) chatting this November. Well I will try to do better this month.

Debi - I am so sorry you have been ill. I am glad however to see that you are feeling better everyday.

Cindy - I am with the rest of the Pokeys, I will be looking forward to seeing your new do, very brave to change a look after 20 years. I think mine has been about the same for 40 years. I have always wanted to go shorter, especially now that I am camping, but I just can't work up the nerve to do it. If you see Jana doing the PSE11 intro class again let me know, I will try to keep watch myself but if you hear let me know I have got to lean that program.

I have been working on a few pages Friday, yesterday and today. I won't have photos until I order them so I need to sit down tonight and order them so I can post them. I want to start getting some cards together, my goal is to have a box full of all occasion cards for 2014 so I can just pick and send as events come up through the year.

Hubby seems to be doing better (no he did not go to the doctor) it may have been an injury more than and illness, but I still think he should see a doctor, he does way to much heavy work for 66. He was a heavy truck and equipment mechanic most of his life, which means he did lots of heavy lifting for many years which has taken its toll on his body, and he thinks he can still do those things and when he does his body just can not rebound like it use to. Thank you all for your concern, it meant a lot to me.

Well everyone have a great day, I am off to work on a few pages. Will check all your projects out later and praise.

Maribeth

Nice to see you Maribeth. I like the idea of having a box of cards to choose from.

I am feeling better (still rattling when I breath though) but my RA is kicking in now that I've been off meds for nearly 3 weeks--oh I dread having to go down that path again, so hoping to scare away this pneumonia so I can resume my RA meds. Life is such a delicate balance.

Just home resting today and feeling a bit antsy because part of me wants to do stuff and the other part just isn't up to it.

Have a lovely weekend
Debi

Good Monday morning in November to you all!!

Up early and photographing a beautiful sunrise this am... must be the time change....

Busy last week and over the week-end,new tires on the car, apple orchard, trick or treating with Ruby and Ruby Thursday and Friday.... working on some inside projects, just making room for outside flowers that come in... lemon tree has many big lemons and is back inside the sunroom in it's favorite big window!!

Today looks lovely... not too cool but just fall like, wear a sweater day.Friday late,I went on a photo drive and finally got a shot of one of the two covered bridges in my county. I have them both now for my album. Also got some good fall shots, our leaves are almost all down now.

Nylene, hope your honey is feeling better with the eye issues and Debi hope you are gaining your strength back too. Cindy, are you seeing a specialist about your issues or your FP? I am sorry that your problems continue,it is no fun to have anything chronically. Maribeth,my two cents worth is, have hubby go to the Dr. even if he feels better.. then
you can rest assured that you did not ignore anything.

I am working on a new tutorial that I found,it's about blending and masks and I am learning a lot.... just love finding those gems!!

Hello to all who are too busy right now... miss seeing your layouts and chatting with you but I know how busy families can be.

Well ds should be here in a little while for lunch and I must look alive, lol!! Soon Come Pam

I just have a minute or two, but wanted to check in to say hello to Maribeth. Glad to have you joining us this month. I agree with Pam that your DH needs to be seen. I understand about the mentality of "I've always been able to do that!" We deal with that here too! But the time comes when you must stop abusing your body. Tell him it's time.

Debi, I hope that today is an even better day and that you are heading for health. Keep us posted. How are the boys doing?

Pam, you have so much energy. I can't wait to see layouts of your sunrise and the covered bridges. It hate to see Fall come to an end.

Cindy, that hairstyle is so cute. I can see you looking like that. If I had your beautiful hair color I wouldn't color it either. I don't want the upkeep of hair color, but my gray is a dirty gray. I may get to the point that I'll color it. Yuck!

Kelly, I know you. Your mojo will come back and you'll make some beautiful Christmas cards. In the meantime, just keep being creative.

I'm tending the 2 local DGD's after school today and taking them out to my other DD's home because her older children are working and she's in Hawaii. It's going to be an interesting week. Wish they could all just come here, but for some reason DD thinks they need to be in school all week.

Gotta run. I'll be back later.

Here's a layout I finished. These 3 live just down the street from us so we see them often. (hence the # of layouts you see about them!) It's so nice to have them dropping in a couple of times a week. If I go more than about 5 days I start having withdrawal!

We Three

My mom used to carry a little book in her purse that said SOG with PIP.
When asked about it she replied that it was Silly Old Grandma with Pictures in Purse. I think I've become her!

I have Cubbies tomorrow so won't get a chance to check in for a couple of days. I'll be back later in the week. Have a great one!

one day up one day down...today was a down day...really tired, back hurt something fierce...wrapped in a warm blanket hoping tomorrow will be a good day.

Pam I think I may have called you Anne awhile back...my apologies. I still get people's names mixed up.

I love the SOG with PIP NYLENE. How totally appropriate.

Good morning everyone. Just stopped by the two peas gallery and everyone's projects look great. I had a great time Sunday scrapping. No completed pages, but all I am lacking are the photos. I also got a good start on making some cards for Christmas. Nothing quite complete yet, but I feel good about my progress.

Hubby is going to town today, so I think I am treating myself to an ATG. I asked him to get me one. We are out here in the boonies and I can't really just run and pick stuff up. Sometimes it is inconvenient not living in the city, but I wouldn't change that for anything.

Work is still stressful, and even more so now as the boss hired a part time lady to help us out at our scale house at the quarry. We have always just had one lady out there, and if she had to be gone her backup was my assistant. In theory we did need a permanent backup but the problem is, is that this person may not be called for months, and there are not many people who are going to jump up for one days pay after months of not being needed, so we decided to let her work at the office doing some of the stuff my assistant and I leave until we have free time to get to it. Again, great in theory, but the lady we hired, well, lets just say in our very small working quarters one really needs to work hard at being respectful of peoples personal space and make a huge attempt to "fit in", and I am not sure that is happening. Today though, I am excited as I am getting a demo on a new accounting program. Our current system is a DOS based program - can you believe that? So I am excited, which is a rare for me to say about going to work.

Well I have babbled on a bit this morning. Ladies, have a wonderful day scrapping, or whatever it is you choose to do.

Maribeth

Oh Maribeth I can't understand why anyone still works with DOS based accounting programs but my friend works at a accounting office and they do...they call me occasionally when a client has an quickbooks account. Oh it is so much easier to use a non-DOS system. Hope you get to upgrade if you like the system shown to you.

I've only been up 2 hours and I'm ready for another nap. Difficult to get much done when you have no energy but maybe all this sleep will help me heal faster. One can hope.

Have a great day

Good evening ladies

Debi - I love the system they showed us. It is written just for Redi-Mix and Aggregate Sales just what we do. Boss is now hmmming, and hawing around about the cost, the investment, but I don't know if he is just giving me a hard time or if he is really reconsidering. He knew the #'s before the demo.

Nylene - I hope the ATG does not disappointment. I am really anxious to get it and for it to work great for me. There were so many Yays on my post I thought sure it would be the tool for me, but I respect your opinion and now I am worried about it again. Hubby is on his way home with it now, keeping my fingers crossed that it works.

Shout out to all the other Pokey's. Have a wonderful evening.

Maribeth

Maribeth, my biggest gripe with it is that it isn't built for lefties, and since I shattered my wrist 2 years ago, I can't hold it in my right hand. Also I need repositionable tape and they don't make that. I'm sure you will really love it. I do use it occasionally, but not all the time. I know most people really love it.

Let us know how it goes! Congrats on getting it. What a nice husband you have. BTW, how's he feeling? I hope you get your new Operating system. We worked on an old DOS system right up until I left the office in 2002. It's time to join the new century!

Debi, I'm worried that you are going back into the hospital. Doesn't sound like you are progressing much. Hugs and lots of prayers for you.
Do you think they need to aspirate your lung again? I certainly hope not. We want you well.

I'm hoping to scrap a little tonight. I'm so tired after finishing our marionettes for cubs, that I might just go to bed.

Hey ladies! Hope you all had a nice day. I have been trying a different type of drawing lately and it has been fun. They are pencil drawings and have a more realistic look. I hope to get some pics and share soon.

Pam- You lemon tree sounds like it will be happy next to that big window getting all that sun. Are you planning any lemon delights with all that fruit?

Nylene- Are your babysitting duties over and is your dd back from Hawaii? How did it all go?
About my cards, the mojo comes and goes but I will be patience and wait for it to return.

Cindy- Glad to hear Kel's birthday party was a hit. Tell Kelly I said hi and hope to see her around whenever. Do your dd still scrap a little? Oh and that hair style you are working towards is cute! Go girl!

Debi- Take it easy and hope tomorrow is better.

Maribeth- Are you going to make any Christmas cards? Your style is so pretty!

Well ladies, there has been no scrapping going on since I got home.
Busy doesn't even begin to describe it around here.....Chaos is more like it.
Football is coming to an end. Last game is this Thursday but basketball begins with games on Monday and Tuesday. And of course, all the holiday stuff has begun. Fall Festival for school, several volunteer things my DH and I are involved in are underway, holiday programs for the kids, getting each side of the family's "dinner" day planned....I could go on and on.
But I did upload a layout that I did right before I left. It really should have gone on the October thread but sticking to the true name of this thread....I "poked" around and let time get away from me.
Summer Fun
Happy Hump Day.
Hope everyone is well.

Good evening ladies

Missy - glad you popped on and shared your page.

Debi - glad you stopped by to say hi - and hope you are feeling better.

Kelly - I am working on Christmas cards right now. Thank you for the compliment on my previous cards, but I can't take all the credit had a log of help on those as they were project for different classes and such. I am trying to put some of the things I have learned to use on the cards I am making now, we shall see.

Nylene - I hope we do get the new accounting program I am crossing my fingers.

Cindy and Nylene - Well I have used the ATG a little bit - I don't hate it but I do think it will take a little getting use to. I do like the power of the adhesive so far, I really needed something strong for my cards and my glittered and textured cardstock.

Ladies, have a wonderful evening. I am off to work on some Christmas cards.

Good Morning ladies! Hope all is going well with all of you. I posted the other day about Jana Morton's new site. You can find it HERE. Last winter a group of us at Creative Passions who were taking her classes began calling ourselves Jana's Junkies. On her new site she has a section called the Junkie Jive where once a month she will feature one of her students to let everyone get to know a little more about one another. I was honored to be asked to be the Lead-off batter" for this project. You can find what I had to say HERE

Maribeth- a couple tips that I use for cards also are using the red tape and/or Glossy Accents as glue. Both of these products really hold things on-including chipboard. The atg's do have a learning curve.

Missy-so nice to see you back! Coming back from a nice relaxing vacation always seems more hectic. I guess it because it was a leisurely time and real life is totally NOT!!!!

Deb-hope you get to feeling better. Just take it easy and let the housework go, it will be there when you feel better.

Kelly-can't wait to see your newest art venture! Becky is getting back into scrapping now that the kids are a little older and her DH is home in the evenings and is helping with the kids. She is learning to use the Silhouette SD that I gave her when I got my Cameo. Kellie is doing well. She moved into a different house & has been painting and getting that together. She mainly makes up albums for gifts to those having new babies. She has her craft room set up though.

Pam-right now I am mainly working with my internist as the surgeon of course turned me back over to him. No one would do anything as the surgeon said I could be a year after my surgery for everything to heal and get back to where it was supposed to be. I love how they give a lot of information after you have had the surgery instead of before.

Waving a big Hello to everyone. I have already written a novel here so I will close and BBL.

Hugs, Cindy

I am so irritated with this site. I have not come here for weeks without something being messed up. It took 6 tries to post the above post. Some days it takes forever to load a layout that is linked in a thread. I wish they would get all the bugs worked out. I understand on weekends when they aren't around and I try to avoid weekends because of that. But it's Thursday! (Ok, off my soapbox now!)

Debi, you aren't sounding good. I think it's time to try to get in to see a doctor before the weekend comes.

Maribeth, I hope you will love your ATG. I wish they'd make a leftie version and repositionable tape. I use Scotch double stick tape that I buy by the case from Sam's club for my cards. It's inexpensive and I don't worry about archival.

Kelly, I'm anxious to see the newest drawings you are doing. Post them on your blog if you don't want to post them here.

Missy, it seems it's always more hectic after a "restful" vacation. Glad you are getting your layouts posted, though.

Here's one for me. Not sure I like it, but I love the photos.

6 Months

Catch you all later!

Good evening peas! first of all thank you so much for the cute smilie and comment about the article. Tonight I have been working on and posting a layout for a wordle challenge. It is how I made the wordart on my layout You can find it at Wordle

Nylene I know how frustrating this site can be. I do not know what happens here. They supposedly made the system better but I think they are very mistaken since it has been worse the past few months. Sometimes you can't even get on, and then nothing works correctly. So sad as there are so many who utilize the site.

Here's my layout- Many facets of me Have a fun evening.

It's Friday!!!!!! YAY - scrapbooking weekend for me (I hope, I hope, I hope) I have a feeling I may end up decorating, but if I don't I hope to get lots of Christmas cards done, the Courthouse layouts up on my website, photo prints ordered.....

Cindy - Congratulations, I did not know you were such a star! How Great.

Nylene - I am getting use to the ATG, slowly. I was the exact opposite I have been using repositionable adhesive for years, but it is just not holding as well as I would like it to.

Debi - Take Nylene advise go to doctor again, and I hope you are feeling better.

Kelly, Missy, Jen, - hello and thanks for dropping by I love hearing from everyone.

......and everyone, have a wonderful Friday, and continue having a fabulous weekend.

See ya around.

Hello girls!!

Crisp, cool, sunny here with a heavy frost this am. Leaves everywhere,it sure looks like fall is working over-time.

The time change has me up earlier, but I don't seem to be increasing my productivity, lol. I did manage an apple pie this am,so it is cooling and it will be yummy for this evening dessert.

Yesterday was Ruby Thursday and she got to come early and stay a few extra hours with me. We played kitchen and she made me lots of tea and bowls of block and dragons for the main course. She learned many new words this week and now does phrases at times. What a blessing she is!!

Cindy,I checked out Jana's new site and enjoyed your article,so nice to know a celebrity!! I looked through her shop, and I will check again,as she builds her inventory up. She is so talented, sending much good luck her way for making this endeavor a success.

I am still making cards as the mojo hits me and the ideas pop up. I sold most of my latest creations so back to square one. What I love about making them is a chance to use scraps, that seems to drive me forward... I also love to send cards, I always get so much feed back when I send a card,it is fading in popularity with all the other modes we have available now.

Worked on flowers yesterday am and today some... Some needed transplanted and just general sprucing up. All are in for the winter in their little places so that is done.

Well ds is here for lunch.. Soon Come Pam

fall is my favorite color

Good Morning ladies! Thanks for your kind comments on the article! I was thrilled that Jana asked me! It was fun. I am loving her new site. Waiting to start her new class Blending Booster 2.

Pam- I know how much of a joy Ruby is for you! They just go and go and they are so much joy. I worked on cards yesterday and did not get much accomplished. But I have lots of time. Your pie sounds good. I have some apples I froze I might get out and make an apple crisp tonight so we can eat it slightly warm with ice cream. YuMMM Wish you were all her so we could share!!!

Nice to you Jenn and Maribeth I hope you get to scrap this weekend. We all deserve some time to do the things we like to do. Even if only for a couple of hours.

Debbie we have not heard from you are you doing OK?

Kelly-have a great weekend and enjoy football. I have college games but the Browns are on a bye. Did you hear our third quarterback of the year
was named MVP for the AFC this week!!! That is something new for us. I was so happy we defeated the Ravens last week as the last time we did that was 2007!@!!!!!!

Nylene I so loved that photo of Alex-it is so clear even on the computer. Your page was adorable! How is Angie doing? How much longer till she is due? I can't remember.

Ok gonna run! BBL!

Hello everyone! I have been reading your posts to stay up to date, I just haven't had much time to comment.

Congrats Cindy! Nylene , why? I love the layout!!
Maribeth, you will love the ATG! Debi, where are you!? Getting concerned!

I am still working on a chipboard album, slowly but surely. Life gets in the way!

It is chilly and we have no plans for the weekend . This is rare. I am hoping to use that time for crafting.

Hugs to all! Ttys

I am here, still at home, limited energy. Did make it to my sons' concert last night and was surprised I did ok for being up for a good 4+ hours straight. Unfortunately it led to a restless night of sleep-didn't get much for some reason.

Tonight we have their end of the season potluck for their ultimate team-it's only 2 hrs so I think I can handle it.

I do need to venture to the store for a quick shop though-not looking forward to that but it must be done. I can come back home and rest for a couple hours before the potluck though.

Long weekend-kids have off school on Monday.

Health issues seem to be surrounding me...me with the pneumonia and the accompanying fatigue, my SIL did an endoscope and biopsy of a nodule in her throat today (having trouble swallowing); my older brother is having calcium deposits taken off his knee today (6th time I think) and my friend who helped with the boys while I was hospitalized just emailed her dad broke his hip on the eve of going in for his first round of cancer treatments so she and her family are there with him. SO Peas it's time to put your heads together and send out some universal GOOD HEALING VIBES so we can all be healthy before the holidays. I'm counting on you.

Keep scraping. I love seeing everyone's projects.
Debi

Won't be on much this weekend so I just wanted to quickly pop in to say I've read the thread and left some gallery love.
Kids are headed to the grandparents for the weekend. So, DH and I are making a quick trip to Oklahoma to visit some friends. I'll check back in on Sunday night when we get home.

Happy Friday! Glad it is the weekend and plus my dh will have Monday off so I hope we can have an extra fun weekend. I told you al I have been playing around with pencil art. I saw this yound lady that is outstanding at it and have been watching her tutorial videos. Hers are so sharp and clear, they look like a photograph. So that is my goal too.

Not sure why some of the pics turned out blue but they are still clear enough to get the idea. Enjoy!

Pencil Art

The first lady with the short bob I did last night. This is my best one. I wish you could see this drawing in person. I was trying to draw from this picture of the pop star Rihanna. It doesn't look exactly like her but I like how she looks anyway. The other one with the long hair looks good and the mother and child was my first time trying this shading and blending technique. Doesn't the baby look so sweet?

Cindy- Our sports weekend is here! Yes, I heard Jason Campbell is the QB. I hope he plays well and give you all some exciting games. My dh's team is shaky now (the Eagles) and my adopted team (the 49er) are doing ok. So we will see have the weekend shakes out. Enjoy the games!
I got to get back over to the site where you are featured. Congrats to you!!! I did read some of your bio and the "Trouble" story of how your nick name came about is cute. Nice to see you have been stirring up humor for a long time.
Also, good to see your girls are following in your artsy crafty footsteps.

Christine, Jenn & Missy- Good to see you and hope you enjoy your weekend.

Debi- Good to see you got out and enjoyed the event last night. Take it easy though.

Maribeth- I hope you get to work on lots of fun card and scrapbooking projects this weekend. Enjoy and get some rest. Oh, how is the little puppy doing?

Pam- Your dggd sounds so adorable and glad she gets to spend so much time with you. Her visits sound heavenly! Glad to hear you sold some cards and make up more. Isn't it so fun? I have lost my card mojo and hope it returns soon. So we will see what happens this year.

Well gang, take care and have a fun evening!

Good Sunday morning to everyone.

I had a great day yesterday, I made several cards which I will be posting a bit later.

Now I know why I am always "Pokey" to get my prints ordered, spent over an hour this morning uploading them. It takes forever. But the task is done and soon I will be able to complete the pages that are ready and waiting fo them.

Kelly - The puppy is doing great. Not so much of a puppy (in size anyway) anymore. I think he is up to about 50lbs. He is a handful, but he seems to be happy here and that is what we wanted for this little abandoned guy.

I hope everyone is having a splendid weekend, I will be back later with posts of my projects - Finally!

Well, I am checking in after a long absence! I have been so crazy between three jobs and three kids that, until DSD, I hadn't scrapped in a month! I will be glad when dh finishes school and I can go back to one job! My body rejected all the craziness last night and I went to bed at 8:30! I still feel a bit under the weather today, but that has allowed me to catch up on this thread and leave some love. My dd and ds have curled up on the couch with me and helped me leave love for everyone. I didn't get every layout, but I'm pretty sure I got several of everyone's.

Cindy and Debi-I am sorry you have been feeling so bad. You will be in my prayers.

Maribeth-I really hope you get the new program at work. I had a terrible computer program at one of my jobs and it drove me crazy!

Nylene-I hope dh is doing better. Any definite news yet?

Well, I finally did 5 layouts last weekend to get pieces of a mega kit at Scrap Orchard! Most of them are with old pics. Here they are:
Jump On In

Everyday Surprises

Lucky

That Face

Captured

Hope to be back soon!

Been there, done that--have the layout!

Good Sunday afternoon ladies

Amy and Christine - glad to see you pop on and love the work you posted.

Here are the cards I finished yesterday. I do not want to offend anyone, but most of the cards are not religious in nature. I am personalizing these cards, and I have some members of my friends and family that are not believers. I still want to acknowledge the season with them however I do not want to offend them. I made several exactly the same of the last card shown which were made for those that are believers in my life, and there will be another few designs in the next batch as well.

Christmas Cards

I have completed some pages, and hope to get those posted tonight as well.

Have a great evening.......unfortunately form me it is back to work tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to it at all.

Good Morning Ladies,

Well I ran out of steam and did not get all my layout photos cropped and uploaded to Two Peas. So I will post them sporadically throughout the week. At least I got them photographed before the sun went down.

I had such a great an productive weekend, getting so many things the I wanted to do completed. Of course there is still more....always is. And now it is drudgery, go back to work day. So not looking forward to it. Trying so hard to get into a positive attitude about it, but struggling this morning.

So, here is one of the pages I completed yesterday. I get a lot of inspiration out of the comic section of the newspaper. This one was published several years ago, and this is so me. I am even worse, I am already planning our trips for 2014, and I although I don't use spreadsheets, I use a calendar program, and a note book. By the time the planning is compete, I have a complete trip book, with maps, menus, locations of gas stations, pull outs. I literally walk the entire route we will take using the google man on the google maps.

Thank you Cindy for the heads up on Woordle, it worded wonderfully for my page.

Vacation Crazy

Have a wonderful Monday everyone.

Good Monday Morning Peas! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I worked on my cards also Maribeth. I started Saturday night and worked all day yesterday on them I too got a lot accomplished. Most of the cutting is done, and now I just need to assemble them. I only made 4 designs however! So not much to write about today. Going to start laundry today and work on them in between loads when I can.

Ami-so nice to see you! I do not know how you keep up! I will be glad when you can go back to one job. I bet the kids miss you! Your pages are so cute. I came over one day and found where you got some of your cute designs and have been visiting Paper Orchard. That is where I found Neener-Neener!

Well I need to get started here and will BBL.

Hugs, Cindy

Monday it is.....

Looks dreary and is windy and it is Monday, what a combo!

Greetings girls, I am enjoying all the new stuff that you all have created... makes me feel like a slacker!! Is that called inspiration or motivation, lol!! Any way it is all beautiful...

I had a busy week-end by my terms-- dinner and movie on Saturday with dd and dsil and dgd then dinner at dd's on Sunday with her family which means I got to play with Ruby.. bonus!Today back to the dentist, since my new retainer of less than a week broke,so off to get it repaired. When I called for the appt.,I told the assistant that maybe I need industrial strength. It will only take a minute to repair but I had other plans, ugh!!

I had pump issues on Saturday with the pond,so I am watching it closely to make sure it doesn't happen again. I checked this am and alz well!!

Well, on to the more mundane details of life, like laundry and cleaning. Soon Come Pam

A quick hello! I am getting ready to go to bed. I have been on vacation getting close to two weeks. I have to go back this week. I have enjoyed myself! My sister and I went to Kansas City to visit my niece and last weekend, I went to a weekend crop with a friend. It has been a fun time!!

I wanted to share a layout I made this weekend plus a few others from past crops. I am not very good of taking pictures and decided to do a few tonight.

From this weekend: Dog Swim 2013

From past crops:
Paw Prints on my Heart
Fisheye Fun
Photobooth Fun

I hope to check back soon!

Good Tuesday morning ladies,

Well for those of you that have been following my accounting program software saga HE DID IT, the boss made the purchase! Now the stress is really on, first because I am the one the found the software and if it does not run well guess who's you know what will be on the line. And secondly our old system is so old and in such disarray we are going to pretty much start from scratch as far as building the data base, new chart of accounts, new part numbers, etc. But I am excited.

Here is another set of pages I completed this weekend. One for each of the grandgirls.

Cool Down

Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday.

Maribeth
