Hi there!!

I just wanted to jump on a sec to say that this is a brand new product that hasn't been shipped quite yet so no one really has had a chance to use it (but I 'm crazy looking forward to it as I've been a filofax/franklin covey girl for a longggg time!)

Here's the info that's been released on the planner so far - I HTH!

Scrapbook & Cards Today’s new 2014 Scrapbooking Planner and Sketch Calendar is now portable, ready to go wherever you go! This 14-month, 64-page planner is coil bound, brimming with 30 page sketches, how-to photo techniques and layouts created by your favourite designers. Each month features a full page of journaling prompts, page starters, photo ideas and areas to jot down notes, memories and special moments, perfect for those who are following Project Life.

And here is the link for more information: http://www.scrapbookandcards.com/2014-scrapbooking-planner-and-sketch-calendar

I ordered one too. I can't wait to get it. I have all kinds of "notes to self" in my craft room and it will be nice to consolidate those and get more organized.
I have a few unfinished projects as well, so maybe if I get them on the calendar and set myself a deadline, they will finally get done!

it does look cool! does it say anywhere what size it is? I like planners that are 5x7, 6x8, etc. but not much larger than that...

I just received mine yesterday. I'd never gotten one before. The deciding factor this year was the spiral binding. It's 8 1/2" x 11", with a durable, yet flexible cover. I like that you have plenty of room for notes, both on the calendar and on the back of the page.

It does include Pagemap sketches (which is kinda the point ), but on the backside of the page. (Personally, I would have liked the sketch and the layout on the same page. The sketch and layout is totally a minor issue for me, simply personal preference.) The layout is almost a full page, with a close up at the bottom of a technique or detail from the layout. I like that. (add'l LO and card sketches in the back.)

The one thing I was disappointed in are the full page ads. It makes it like a magazine. Maybe it's just me, but I bought a calendar planner, I don't want ads. You can't rip them out because of the other side. I expect to see ads in a magazine, not a planner.

Overall, I think it's a great idea. I like writing things down in this electronic world. I was hoping to use it to jot things down for the possibility of doing some form of PL and unfun things like dr. appts.

Hope this helps someone!

Can someone link to this? It sounds interesting, but I'm not seeing it on the Page Maps website. Thanks!

I just received mine today, along with the winter kit. I LOVE the kit, and I flipped through the calendar and love it. I think I agree with the pp about the ads, but even they're pretty.

I have to say the magazine that comes along with the kit is wonderful. It's so thick and such a great quality.

I'm excited.

I received mine yesterday.
I ordered one for me and one fora friend for a Christmas gift.

I love the sketches (of course), and the finished layouts.
But was a bit put off by all the advertising as well.
As for the "Brainspace" magazine…I have no use for it myself. Thought it was an odd magazine to send for scrapbookers?

Is it 8.5 x 11 outside of the spiral - so I could cut that off and put in my binder?

It looks so cute but I need an integrated system.

Not a complaint - This can be filed under WE CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE - it's just so cute. Maybe I'll think of it as a magazine and keep in car for reference.

I just re read my post above and it kind of sounded to me like I was complaining. I really wasn't, or didn't mean for it to sound that way.

I have more likes than dislikes.
I love the sketches, you get (I think about 30 of them)
I like the completed layouts showcasing the monthly sketches.
I like that the calendar is easy to write on, you can use any type of pen or even pencil as it is not glossy paper.
I like that there are journal spots or tags for each month.
I like that it is coil bound so you can flip the pages to the back and its still nice and flat.
I like that there are creative tips in it as well.

There now I feel better
