Wow! amazing albums! Thanks Ladies!

So excited! Spent last night viewing all the pictures, getting ideas...I have Christmas scrapping supplies EVERYWHERE now!

Will you participate in a holiday documentation program? Journal Your Christmas? December Daily? BPC's 12 Days of Christmas? Your own?

If so, what size album will you use? or will you make your own?

Anyone make a varied sized album, including 12x12 sheets?

I was not going to this year, but I decided I will. It will be more of a childhood memories/favorite ways to celebrate/random journaling album rather than daily documentation because most of my December consists of studying for grad school exams! Although maybe I will do a daily project too, it will be quite a contrast between this year and next year when I am done with school.

I have not decided what size to use. First I thought of the 6*8 Snap-type albums, but I am worried about not being able to find that page size in the future, so I might do 8*8 instead. Definitely not 12*12, that seems much too large!

I have basically no Christmas or even winter themed stuff, so I just put in an order of pieces from OA Silent Night and three Webster's Pages lines (Royal Christmas, which is an older one, and some each of the two new ones for this year - A Christmas Story and ?????). That should be enough to take me through at least this year!

I was going to do Shimelle's JYC, but I have never done a paid class before and $35 is a bit more than I planned to spend! I know you get access every year after you join, but I have a limited scrapping budget and lot of my own ideas for topics I can journal about too.

I'm doing a DD this year. We just sold of home(we had lived there almost 26 years) & moved south. This year will be completely different. We'll be in GA for the first part of December & then go back to IN to spend Christmas with our daughters & grandkids. My daughters are determined to keep our favorite traditions but this year they will be hosting. I don't want to miss a thing!

I am doing one. I bought Citrus Twist's kit and the Dear Lizzy Memorology album to make my album.

well, I think I am going to tie my "JYC" into my normal CHristmas album.

I will use a 12x12 album, however not every page will be 12x12. With each prompt, I will pick papers/embellishments to "go" with the daily prompt/theme/picture/journaling into a page protector. I need to think about how to pre-pick/make the journaling cards/area.

I completed JYC in a 6x6 album last year and I just didn't like the small size. I still have several stories to tell, but they will be in a 12x12 album. I don't like having 2 albums.

Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I am but I think mine will be more of a "Traditions to remember" type thing instead of every day. I have lots of different shaped chipboard that I plan to put together to make an album out of. I really need to get started!

I am hoping to do one - it will be a first for me. I think I will label it "Holiday Memories" because Hanukkah starts before Thanksgiving this year!! We still celebrate Christmas though. We go to my folks (I converted) and we do stockings.

I have decided to do a pocket style album to see if I like that format. I will be spending December down at my mom's because she is having knee surgery and I thought I would document "A Different December"

I'm doing Journal Your Christmas in a red WRMK 12x12 album, but not with a particular collection. I'll just scrap layouts with whatever supplies look good with the photos. I'm also planning to mix in whatever holiday events we have in December among the prompts.

I got so inspired by Corrie's approach that I plan to to a 12x12 pocket page style DD. I plan to use the echo park/photo freedom Dear Santa. It is from last year, but I won it in a challenge and decided to put it to good use. I am having fun putting together my own kit and plan to post about it on my blog sometime this month. I've never done a DD before and I'm really getting excited about it!!!

The albums were amazing. I pinned lots of great ideas and also pulled more items from my stash to add to the papers and embellishments that I've already set aside for my December Daily. I've done an album every year since 2008 in many different formats. My favorite size was last years 6x8 Snap album.. I liked it so much that I am going to repeat the album again, but with patterned paper.

I have done JYC for several years and have made 6x6 and 8x8 albums with chipboard covers and binder rings.

I wasn't going to do it this year, but saw the Snap countdown cards. So I'm going to do one with pocket pages and stick in my regular family album.
