This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges on 2peas and is a fun place to come chat with other scrappers.

1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. Mark the box for Pokey Peas as you post your layout. Put a link to your layouts on this Pokey Peas Thread for December 2013. (If you don't know how to post a link, leave a note to me on the Pokey Peas Thread or peamail me and I will help you.)

2. This can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items.

3. Please leave praise for others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts.

4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or a dozen. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new Peas.

Please contact me with any questions.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!

Welcome to December! 31 days left until we start 2014. Seems impossible that the year has gone so quickly.

The link for layouts posted to this thread is HERE.
The link for last month's thread is HERE.
The link to all layouts submitted last month is HERE.

I hope to see lots of projects posted this month and hope to do a few myself. This has been a crazy couple of weeks and I'm not sure why I think this month will be any different, but I can always hope.

Looking forward to seeing your layouts and artwork.

Good Sunday afternoon everyone. I am here to post my layout and say Hi! Not much going on here. My Browns lost again. So sad! Oh well better luck next week. I also have proceeded to mess up my blog. I was trying to make my own template/background. I will keep trying but not today.

You can find my post layout here: Behold the Beauty

Oh Christine I spent a small bundle on the Silhouette sale also. Isn't it fun! Have you tried the stamp making kit? I made a stamp with it and it works really well. Stamps good too! I ordered the large pen kit also as mine are running dry. I love those for journaling, and card making. The rhinestone setter works well too!

Hello everyone! Thank you Nylene for starting this thread again.

Cindy-

I ended up ordering the Silhouette cameo. I have the original and I really wanted the 12" version.

I haven't tried any accessories yet. Good to know you like them. I am on a freeze. I have replaced both my sizzix and the silhouette in a months time! SMH! To top it off I have an over abundance of stamping and scrapbooking supplies. I better get scrapping!

Enjoy your new purchases.

Here is one I finished this morning

Hi, Cindy! Sorry about the loss for your team. They have had some bad luck this season. Thanks for reposting your layout. I didn't want anyone to miss it. I had to laugh at your spending money at the Silhouette sale. I have been so good about keeping my spending low...until the Echo Park and American Crafts warehouse sales came to town. Let's just say I could scrap for the rest of my life and that of my grandchildren with all the paper I now own. In order to find places for it I had to purge a lot of my really old paper...some that I bought when DGD Megan was a baby. She's 19! It was time! Really ugly stuff that I use for sample cuts.

All family have gone home and the house is too quiet. Angie and family will stay in Nevada tonight and go on to CA tomorrow. My heart almost broke when Sammie started sobbing about having to leave. How I miss them. We had such a fun time together.

I hope you have all had a wonderful week and weekend.

Good morning Peas! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a weekend.
I will have kids again today -not sure why they don't have school but we will do something fun.

Nylene- I feel bad for Sammie, and it does break your heart when they sob like that. I know you miss them, but sometimes we need that peace and quiet! Thanks for the new thread by the way. I know this is a busy time for everyone so I am sure the thread might be slow this month. I have not bought a lot of paper recently but digi items instead! Our last digi class had a lot of tips in making your products work in many ways so hopefully I will decrease my spending there too. I saw those sales for Echo Park and AC Nylene- I would have had to go too! I love AC cs with the Silhouette.

Christine-I started out with the Silhouette SD and bought the Cameo as soon as it came out. I love the 12 inch capability. I love my Silhouette period. I take clipart and all kinds of png's into it and use the trace feature. I said soon it will clean house.

Kelly-Ohio State ended up number 2 in the BCS but I feel bad for Alabama. I tell you both of those games had exciting yet heartbreaking endings to them depending on which team you were rooting for. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Well waving Hi to everyone! Will be back later!

Hugs, Cindy

Good Morningw

Monday it is and that is usually a new start for me,lol... Lots to do today and I hope I get it all done.

Cindy,it was a big fb week-end here as well since all the OSU grads and students gathered for the big game. Also my family in Michigan is always involved since little sister and children are grads from there and e-mails and texts come flying. Then don't forget about the Brown's gene that runs in this family as well. I served food and messed around on the laptop, since I am not a watcher,I just listen. LOL it was LOUD during the Buckeye game and tense.

Well the TG décor is down and cleaning for Christmas is in full swing today. Also I have a rug kit on the way to start on my rag rugs for this winter and for gifts. I am so excited,it sure fills my long evenings when I am here alone.

I have a snowman cut out of fabric ready to start and an idea for one made of weathered boxes to place at one of the doors with lights. Just need my plan to come together.

Well here's hugs to all and Soon Come Pam

can some of you ladies send me the "efficiency gene" for Christmas. You all seem to get so much done in a day. I waste so much time...thinking about what I need to do rather than actually doing it. LOL

Got lots of errands to run today. SO I need to get going.

Have a great one.

Happy December ladies! I can't believe how this year has flown by. Glad you all had a nice holiday with your families. We had a restful time. and watched lots of sports and enjoyed them. The turkey thighs I made turned out good and so did the dressing/stuffing. Still been drawing too. I will share more this week.

Cindy- Yes, that Alabama/Alburn game was crazy! We didn't see the whole game but I was so glad we turned in especially to see that amazing 1 sec action. That was so exciting! While I was in the kitchen, my dh was yelling, "NO WAY, NO WAY" as that guy was running all those yards for the winning td. So I got to see the replay and that was amazing! THis is why I love sports. You never know what will happen and how happy it makes you feel. Also, congrats on you OSU win and ranking. Maybe you all will go to the National Championship game???? FIngers crossed.

Did you hear, my USC just hired a new coach today, Sarkisian from Washington. I feel a little disappointed because I thought we would get a more accomplished coach or keep Coach O. But we will see what happens.

Nylene- So happy you enjoyed your family. How is Angie doing these day? Send my hello to her.

Pam- Looks like you had all that football excitment too. So fun! Also, you holiday gifts wound nice. I hope you enjoy making all you beautiful creations.

Debi, if I had an "efficiency gene" I'd be happy to share it. It seems the older I get the less I accomplish. Maybe I'm just getting lazier! Hope you are getting a little better each day.

Kelly, Angie is doing well. She's due the end of March. I'll tell her hello from you. She'll be back in CA this afternoon. Can't wait to see more of your artwork.

Pam, we need to see photos of all these fun projects you have going! I wish I lived close enough to share making crafty things with you.

Cindy, how nice that the grands get another day out of school. So what fun thing did you decide to do together? I wish we'd had one more day with all the children.

Christine, I know you will love your Silhouette. Cindy has become a Master at it and she's always so willing to help anyone and everyone.
Can't wait to see lots of intricate cuts in your projects.

I think I caught the colds that the grands had. I'm hoping I feel better for Cubs tomorrow. We only have 2 more meetings this year and then will start again in Jan. It will be nice to have a break.

Hugs to all of you. Hope you have a bit of crafty/scrappy time this month.

Forgot to post my project. This is a little mini-album that I taught at Card Club for November. Then Sammie and I made some more over the Thanksgiving weekend. It's the perfect size for small photos and a gift card. Sammie is going to make them for her friends for Christmas.

Good evening ladies! sounds like a sports column over here!
Ohio State has to play Michigan State this coming week to see who goes to Rose Bowl. They have the number one defense in college ball. I watch them play as I have followed their head coach thru his career. I worked with his mother-in-law. He was the defensive coordinator for OSU when Jim Tressel was there the first year or two. The Auburn -Ala game was amazing. I watch Alabama every week and have for several years. Leslie will be happy though she's an Auburn grad and her DH is an Ala. grad. The Browns have no quarterback for this week other then a kid they just signed who has never thrown one ball in the NFL. Oh Yoy!!!!

Nylene I hope you feel better fast! We made chocolate cookies with chunks of chocolate in them. Maggie helped decorate my tree also. The cookies I made I saw on the Pioneer Woman. They are really rich but good! Here's a link to the recipe if you are interested. Chocolate chocolate white chocolate chip cookies

Pam I can't wait to see the snowmen you are making, and snap a shot of the rugs too.

All right I am getting off of here. Christine I have to tell you that even though Silhouette says they will only let you recover your library 3 times, they also understand that computers crash, and we get new ones, and they will adjust that number if you need it and have a good reason. They customer service is excellent. They just don't want you to share your library with others as then they lose money.

Hugs, Cindy

Cindy, just wanted to thank you for the recipe. I think I gained 3 lbs. just reading it! Filing it away to make for Christmas. I'm sure the grands LOVED them.

that recipe CINDY sounds lethal...LOL Not a huge chocolate fan but did eat 2 LOOK bars today (dark chocolate over nougat) which are one of my favorites. I need to be careful or I will gain all the weight I lost in the hospital back and more...

Made lettuce wraps (using the left-over turkey instead of chicken)...was delicious, although my boys think it's weird to wrap stuff in lettuce. They are too used to Mexican tortillas...LOL

I scrapped today, but for a contest, so you'll have to wait to see.
How's that for a teaser?

Have a good day...hoping to fall asleep soon, but prednisone is keeping me awake...it's 1 a.m. now ...got to be up at 6 so would be nice to sleep some.

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good day. Mine is uneventful so far. I did start cleaning out and reorganzing my art stuff. Hope to do more today. But what is sad is that I did all this work and I can't tell much difference! I guess we just need a bigger apt.

Debi- Yeah, I guess these peas are busy and in holiday mode.

Isn't it amazing once you get really involved in your hobbies how much more room you need!!!!! I wonder why that is???

I have not been up to much today either. Got my hair trimmed and went to Sam's Club and then over to watch the kids. Yesterday I hung the greenery on the porch railings and tomorrow I am going to put out the nativity set. I thought if I did a little every day it might not seem so overwhelming. I addressed and signed all my cards last night, now just need to get stamps.

Pam-I saw your page over at DD-did you make that snowman? I love it.

Well I hope all is well with everyone. Nylene How are you feeling???

Ok going to find something to get myself into!

Cindy and Kelly, I understand about how the house shrinks as the hobby matures! I must find a better place to store my cubbie stuff. It is taking over my scrap room!

I am feeling lousy still. Just headache, sore throat and ears. Guess ill have to go see my doc on Monday. He's out of the office until then. I can tell its settling in my sinus and chest. I'm being very lazy this week and have done a lot of sleeping.

I'll drop back in before the weekend. Keep warm all of you in the path of the Arctic air.

NYLENE sorry you're feeling badly...hot steamy baths/showers to clear those sinuses and lots of fluids...rest...you know the drill LOL

Well I finally became less sore as the day progressed but it didn't make me want to go outside and finish the yardwork...the fact it wasn't barely above freezing didn't help either. I just stayed inside but I did run a couple errands today so it wasn't a total wash.

One more companion page...can't focus on one kid without doing the other...LOL

Good Saturday morning. Hope everyone is safe and sound after the big storm that swept across the country. The weather is really changing and storms of every season seem to be so violent in nature. I am almost finished with my shopping. One more trip and I will probably be done. Today I am going to add some decorations to my tree and try finish decorating. Then I hope to move into the scrap room to make a few things for the grands for school and their friends.

Nylene- you have not been here so I know you are really under the weather. Hope you recover soon. Not a good time to be ill =like there ever is. Sending you hugs and virtual chicken soup.

The BIG GAME is tonight-Ohio State vs. Michigan State. It starts at 8PM. It should be a great game-and I am a fan of both teams-but it is a given I will be rooting for Ohio State-Go Bucks!

Waving a big HI to everyone. will check back later.

Hugs, Cindy

Jessie, it's so nice to see you dropping by. Please stop in whenever you get a chance. We'd love to see photos of your now toddling baby! they grow so fast.

Still a bit under the weather here. I will see the doctor on Monday, but in the meantime I'm just staying nice and warm.

I can't believe how much COLD and ice some parts of the nation have received. Our big storm came in the day after Angie got back to CA. and it has stayed cold and windy and miserable since.

Good luck to all of you cheering for your teams this weekend.

I promise to be more chatty when the headache goes away.

Thinking of all of you.

Hi all,

Debi- I had to laugh when I saw your post. Sorry it is just a busy time of year and I did come take a peek and I check the message board daily.

Nylene, sorry you are not feeling well. Please take it easy and get better soon!

Cindy- I had my hair done on Friday. I agree with you that doing little by little makes things less overwhelming.

Kelly- the bigger the space the more you need. Don't bother with a bigger place , lol!! You will just fill it up.

I have had a layout on my desk all week and for many reasons! 1) limited time 2) limited patience. BUT the good news is I did not give up! I will complete it later and share!

temperature is up to 22...whoohoo! Of course, I'll hold off with going to the beach for awhile (maybe 7 months or so)...

quiet in the house, the boys are still sleeping although I can hear them stirring so I suspect they will rouse soon. Hoping to get them to help me decorate the house today, but trying to pull them away from their electronics (with time for homework and eating) is always tough...LOL

I need to hobble downstairs and turn up the heat though...it's only 60 in here and that's a bit chilly unless I'm really working hard (which right now I'm hardly working)...

Maybe I'll make French toast for breakfast and put on a pot of chicken vegetable soup and maybe make a batch of chicken golden curry too...that should hold us for a couple days. I could make a batch of brownies while I'm at it as well...could be a couple hours in the kitchen at this rate...nothing like wafting aromas of cooking food to put you in the holiday spirit.

As for my health, it still stinks. Pneumonia is still quite alive and kicking...getting very tired of hurting when I breath deeply and crackling when I breath at all...oh well, at least I have more energy than a few weeks ago so perhaps that is improvement.

Have a great day!
Debi

Well both Ohio State and the Browns lost-it was that kind of weekend. I will root for the Michigan State Spartans in the Rose Bowl though. If anyone was going to beat OSU I was glad it was them.
I worked on some cute treat boxes for the kids for school this evening. I will take photo of them when they are finished. Made them for teachers and the bus driver. We are getting an ice storm tonight so I will probably stay home tomorrow and do laundry. I will shop Tuesday. I may start wrap[ping a few things so I don't have to do it all at once. I have to plan baking yet too.

Deb-I sure hope you start feeling better.

Nylene- glad you see the doc tomorrow. Especially with all you have to do.

Christine-love your pages and seeing what you are doing with your Sil.

Kelly-how did your teams do? I worked on my blog this morning. I made the header and would like to make my background but their instructions leave a lot to be desired. I want to make some changes in my blog but not sure what yet.

Ok going to close Be back tomorrow.

Hugs, Cindy

Cindy, I need to check out the Silhouette sale before it goes away! I saw your post about the Photoshop deal and downloaded it too! I have been using CS4. The camera club had me wanting the newer version and couldn't pass up this deal!

Christine, enjoy your Silhouette! I love mine!

Nylene, I hope you are feeling better!

Debi, I saw you have been sick. I hope you are on the mend now. I just read further into the post and saw you are still sick. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I have been busy since my vacation ended. I have good and bad news to share! The bad, my parents dog that was my G-ma's dog passed away. When I saw her around Thanksgiving, she was sick and didn't want to mingle with everyone. I had a bad feeling about the outcome and I was right. She got weaker and my parents decided to put her to sleep since she wasn't able to do anything. My G-ma had paid for her burial years ago at the pet cemetery. My Mom and I are going to meet at the dog cemetery for her burial when the ground isn't so frozen.

Then good news is one of the layouts I posted, Paw prints to my heart, was spied by Imaginisce! Spied Blog post I wouldn't have ever seen this except a friend of mine saw it and posted it to my Facebook!

I have also been talking to a guy I meet on Christian Mingle. He seems really nice and we have been chatting since mid-November. We were going to meet today but the weather isn't good. Now we are meeting in a couple of days. I am excited to meet him to see if we hit it off! He already thinks we will.

I need to get ready for a crop near the end of January. I am meeting up with a lot of scrapbooking friends! I just hope the weather cooperates that weekend since I have to drive to St. Louis.

Work has been a little crazy but we haven't seen much flu. I think it gets crazier for the people trying to get things done before their deductible restarts in January.

I tried to get on here earlier and I kept getting the Bad Gateway message. I am hanging out at the coffee shop and will be heading home soon. They close in about 10 minutes! I hope everyone is doing good and hope to check back soon!

Nice to see you JANA and congrats on getting your page recognized...always fun to know other people notice your work, isn't it?

I don't think I'll be able to move tomorrow. Had the kids bring all the Christmas boxes up (we have about 20); put up the tree, the tree lights, most of the ornaments, the snowmen collection on my mantle, did some laundry, made brownies, chicken curry, chicken vegetable soup and teriyaki chicken, cleaned a corner of the basement and a corner of the guess room. I have tugged, pushed, lifted, carried and shoved way more stuff than I should have and my body is screaming. Hope it won't turn on me tomorrow. Still have lots to do to get ready but at least now it seems doable.

Also managed to get the kids to finish their homework in there. And now I'm hiding in my room as the kids have all the lights out in the house and have tiny flashlights attached to nerf guns and are playing spy and ambushing each other...LOL oh well, they needed some time to play and I'm happy they are playing together. Now I hope they follow through and collect all those nerf bullets when they are done.

I think I will turn on my heated throw and watch some Netflix and relax...maybe it's time to take some more ibuprofen too.

Jana, it's so nice to see you! I'm sorry about your parents' doggie. It is so hard to see them go. We went through that with a "granddog" this summer. Heartbreak! On a better note, congrats on having your cute layout spotted! I think that's great and I'm glad someone made you aware of it. And best of luck on meeting your friend in a few days. I hope things really click for you. One of my DD's met her DH on the internet, and that was way back before dating sites. We just about died when she told us. We were under the impression that they met at college, but she carefully told us, "we met while we were at college" (2000 miles apart and on the internet!!!) He is such a prize. He is perfect for her and their little family. So, I am less afraid of internet dating now. But you be careful...that's my finger wagging in your face like a grandma....because we love you.

Debi, I hope you are moving today and feeling ok. That's a lot of stuff you got done yesterday.

Cindy, thanks for the medical advice. I saw my doctor this a.m. and he loaded me up with prescriptions. He has me taking a claritan every day for the rest of my life and also a Rx nasal inhaler every day. He started me on a heavy duty antibiotic since I went through several at this time last year. From now on I think we'll start with the big one. It's almost exactly a year since I went thru this last year. I'm thinking I'll get better faster this time. I'm exhausted just going to the appt. and the pharmacy! I need to get moving! I'm sorry your teams lost. I actually listened to the sports to find out how they did. Sorry!

Nice to see you all. Keep warm!

Oh NYLENE I so can sympathize...seems I get sick around late October and it lasts through the new year (4 years out of the last 5)--2x with pneumonia. Maybe I need to go visit MICHELLE during the fall/winter months.

Not feeling too worse for wear today, surprisingly. I managed to pick up a Christmas Ornament (freecycle) of the 3 stooges (Hallmark keepsake one from 1999 of them all in Santa suits), deliver a letter/check to the rightful owner as it was misdelivered to us, went to a meeting, ordered some Ultimate Frisbee clothes online and had SIL do the same for the boys then went downtown and picked them up, dropped off a van load of old computers, monitors, printers, etc to the recycle place, did a load of laundry and had a steaming bowl of homemade chicken soup. Also got one of my EBAY purchases delivered today. So things are coming together.

I will tackle more of the decorating later, after taking a bit of a break.

Ok, it is offically COLD here! We have been bundled up especially at bed time with flannels and an extra blanket. Wow, I see there is a tough weather from coast to coast. Stay warm my peas! I have been drawing and still no mojo for Christmas cards. I still got a little time so we will see. I have an idea of using some of my paintings to make a calendar or cards as gifts. SO maybe I will do that.

Nylene- Oh, I hope you feel better soon. Take it easy and I am sending you some hot vitual tea. Enjoy!

Jana- I am so happy to hear you lovey dovey! I hope you have a great first date and keep us posted. Also, congrats on your "I SPY" suprise. I went over there and that is a cute layout. You're famous!!!

Cindy- Oh, we watched the OSU/MS game on Saturday and I did think of you. It was a good one and game you aren't too sad. Also, on Sunday when I heard your Browns were winning against the Patriots I was so excited but then that Tom Brady did his thing. I know you must of been so excited at least for a while. Did you see some of that "snowbowl" in Philly? Wow that was amazing seeing them play in all that snow. WOW!

How did your blog turn out? I have thought of changing mine too. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

Waving to Christine, Pam, Debi, Missy and all you ladies!

Good Morning! Wow it was nice to hear from so many of you yesterday!

Jana it was so great to hear from you! So glad you got to take advantage of the sales at the Sil and Adobe. Be careful meeting your date-make sure it is a very public place!!! Aren't you glad for all your "MOMs"!

Nylene- so glad you got to the doctor and he gave the big guns! I take Claritin and use a nasal spray everyday for my allergies. When I get really bad I switch over to Allegra 180's-generic version of course. I had to laugh when you said you listened to the sports! I did hear OSU will be playing in the Orange Bowl on Jan 3.

Kelly- Yes the Browns were doing well in spite of bad officiating then they collapsed in the last 2.30 minutes of the game. They played so well until then. We play the Bears this week. Let's put it this way-we will not be seeing the Super Bowl anytime soon! But they are still my team!

I am going to head out after while to do a little shopping for my sweet DH. He has always been with me so I never get his shopping done! Not sure what I am getting him but I have a few things he needs. It is really cold here and we are supposed to get a few snow showers, but nothing major and only a half inch accumulation.

Will check back later.

Hugs, Cindy

This week is spirit week at school. Yesterday was pajama day and I was surprised when the boys came home they had pjs on as when I saw them in the morning while I was making their lunch, they were dressed in their normal clothes. Not sure when they changed as I went back upstairs. LOL

Today despite the nippy below freezing weather is Tropical day...so both wore Hawaiian style short sleeve shirts, one wore puka shell necklaces and a pink flower lei; the other wore green and yellow (school colords) leis. Neither chose sunglasses since it's hard when they both wear regular classes. They opted out of shorts, even though I told them I'd take them to school if they wanted to wear shorts. Can't blame them though...it's mighty chilly out there. At least the school keeps the building very warm.

Feeling fine (soreness-wise) so perhaps I'll finish the decorating today.

Feel like scrapping so perhaps I'll do that for an hour before starting my day..already had breakfast so that's done. I made 2 quick pages last night (one on National Donut Day and one on National Slurpee Day) just for the records. No need to share them, they are just basic Los.

Have a good day.

Hello my precious peas!!
Finallly made the time to reply and send cyber soup to those on the infirmed list. Hoping for a healthier day tomorrow. Take care and rest!!

Knutschen,so sorry about your family loved dog... it's so sad to say good-bye to our faithful friends. Hugs to you and family. Hope your new internet adventure works out well. be safe and cautious... You are very level headed so I am confident and hope for the outcome you wish..

I have been so busy.. as everyone else I imagine.. I am happily crocheting my rag rugs right now and a host of other fun and some not so fun activities. I made peanut butter fudge yesterday and when ds came for lunch he took half of it with him Just as well, it is so tempting to eat too much of it!! Ruby Jo will be here to stay for a couple days, her Mother will have ACL repair on Thursday. We are so looking forward to her visit, she is the greatest. In church recently after a prayer and then a bit of quiet, she said eieio which was heard by the whole congregation and then a big smile... She wanted to chime in too!!

Well, the wind is howling it is 18 degrees and that will probably be the high for the day today. The sun is out bright so that helps.

Nylene, I am slacking on my décor also with no real excuse. I just got all the fall stuff packed and put away, lol!!

Well "nuff" said... Soon Come Pam

Pam, you are ahead of me. My fall stuff is still up, but I took down the door wreath. So I'm empty-doored and hoping to get some mojo in the next few days.

I'm actually feeling some better today. Hopefully on the mend. I decided to do Cubs because we need to finish our wooden frames and put their photos in for Christmas gift to parents. So I trudge down to Costco to get their photos and find that Costco has had a big router malfunction and they don't have the photos and aren't sure they are even being processed. So we'll either have to meet next week which I hadn't planned to do, or put the photos in the frames when they finally arrive and deliver them to the boys. It will probably be the latter. The boys get so hyper just before Christmas...reminds me of my school teaching years.

Cindy, I knew you'd laugh that I actually listened to see if your teams won. For those of you who don't know, I am not a sports fan...nothing against it, just not interested. But I married the son of a coach and a man who planned originally to be a coach too. Maybe if he'd stayed coaching I'd have developed an interest. I'd rather be reading or crafting.

Debi, sounds like your boys are really into Spirit week this year. I hope you took photos. Please post your layouts. ALL our layouts are just ordinary layouts!!

I have just about finished making my Christmas cards. They aren't fancy, but I hope to get them out in the next few days.

Gotta run. It's great to see everyone. Keep posting.

Feeling none too well this morning. Hurts when I breath; hoping it isn't a step backwards in the healing process. Planning on taking a hot shower to clear the sinuses and lungs and see if I feel better.

Hey all! All bundled up??? I am! Almost time to fix dinner but still sitting here having fun on the computer. I just posted some new pictures of more drawings. The one I did of Ron is one of my best so far. He was so tickled to see it and that made my heart happy. Also the one of Ellen really looks like her too.

Drawings

Nylene- Hope you are feeling better and not too tired with your Cub duties. Take it easy mama!

KELLY your artwork is just fantastic...you are getting really good and in such a short time. Makes me think I could learn to draw...nah maybe not, but I can fantasize, right?

Had labs drawn and the shingles shot today. Have had a killer headache ever since. They said it could be a side-effect of the shot but never expected to actually get it. Sleeping nor ibuprofen hasn't helped but hope it will go away soon.

Off to nap some more.

Hello Peas! Just a quick run-by to post a layout I did this evening. We attended Bobby's holiday program at school tonight-the Marvelous Magical Sleigh. It triggered a few memories for me so I documented them before they slid out of memory again! Hope you have a great evening! Be back tomorrow!

Friday and it seems there is still so much to do. How can that be?

Crossing my fingers hoping my son does well on his Algebra and Japanese Kanji test...it will be a tough day for him. He's struggling and I'm struggling with trying to figure out how to help him.

Kids go to their dad's this weekend so hopefully I can finish the house décor, wrap the gifts and maybe even do our Christmas letter. Well it's a plan anyway, whether it is doable or not is yet to be seen.

Good morning peas! Hope everyone is doing well. I know this is such a busy time of the year. I baked yesterday with the grands and we had such a good time! I also was on my feet too long so today my back is not so good. That's ok I am planning on scrapping and watching the Browns game.
Thursday we attended Bobby's holiday program and I have printed photos and will be paper scrapping it, and I also have cookie photos to scrap and another layout I have in mind for this coming week.

This week will be wrapping week and I have one more day of baking but not as busy as yesterday Oh we made peanut blossoms-the peanut butter cookies with the Hershey kiss, and the Russian teacakes-we call dough balls-another page I could scrap. The little round ones covered in powdered sugar that melt in your mouth. The ones I have to make are puff pastry filled with date, apricot or pecan fillings.

Going to close for now. Hope all is well and see you later!

Hugs, Cindy
