Glitter Girl,
I have no idea what videos Two Peas has planned for 2014,but I really hope you come back to us. I look so forward to Wednesdays and the latest video. I think that there are plenty of scrappy problems still to be solved,so please keep the sparkle in Wednesdays and continue this remarkable and wonderful series.

Have a glittery day,

As much as I really enjoy the videos and Shimelle's classes, I kind of hope GG takes a break for a while. She seems so busy all the time, girl needs a rest! I'll watch if she does them, but I hope that in doing them she doesn't overextend herself.

I would love to see her return in 2014, but sometimes I feel as though she is feeling a little burnt out. Maybe she needs to do another type of video. Thank you GG for all your hard work and really long videos. They do provide so much info.

I absolutely love the Glitter Girl videos! They are the only videos I consistently watch here on Two Peas. However.... I realized that I don't pay much attention to the actual problem being solved. I just like to watch Shimelle make a layout. So maybe to keep things fresh (after 100 episodes!) it's time for Glitter Girl and the Adhesive Avenger to take a little break and perhaps we could have something new from Shimelle for 2014.

I would love to see more GG videos in 2014. I thought about her tiday when I made a mistake and just went with it. I thought if GG can work with an ink spotch I can deal with the the daft thatbI just cut my vackground paper and not the paper that was supposed to Kayseri on top of it. And you know what? I did make it work and it looks awesome. Thanks for the continued inspiration GG.

I agree with this too.

100 videos is quite an achievement. I really enjoy them, but I wouldn't mind seeing Shimelle videos in a different format.

Like someone else said, at this point I don't even really pay attention to the specific problem she is addressing, I just watch for her explanation of her thought process and all the other tips she gives along the way to figuring out how to use a stamp on a page or whatever the problem is.

It must be exhausting to constantly come up with new topics and try to keep things fresh for these videos. There are only so many questions you can cover. I can think of at least a handful of GG episode suggestion threads people have started only to be told that there is already a GG video on that exact issue.

I'd hate to see this become like one of the many TV shows that are really great for the first few seasons but then majorly go downhill toward the end! I'm sure everyone can think of a few examples.

As long as Shimelle continues to do process videos, I don't care about the format. Glitter Girl is great, but if she's ready to do something new, I'm okay with that. Just keeping bringing us your wonderful videos, Shimelle!

Yes, I just hope that Shimelle/Glitter Girl comes back next year in some format - I've really become addicted to her! I'm amazed at all the Garden Girls and how they come up with new topics or problems to solve. This has been an especially good year at 2Peas for videos and I hope that next year can be oh-so-good too. Maria

Just wanted to step in here and say thank you for all your votes of positivity!

Filming Glitter Girl is a highlight of my week. I love it. Love, love, love it.

It is sometimes a bit tough to find a topic - I've repeated a few topics over the months because sometimes there are just no posts in the first 5 to 10 pages of the message board that will translate right to the format of our episodes. Thankfully there are some questions I could answer ever week for ages and not get tired of! But whether I'm tired of it and whether you're tired of it is always a different story.

We're also in the process of looking at that nitty gritty of when does Glitter Girl help you shop as well as when she helps you scrap! We always have to keep that in mind since it's the sales that make her videos possible. We try not to overthink it, but at this time of year we look back and see where we can make it possible so Glitter Girl can keep sharing videos and not need to swap her sequins for something else to pay her bills! But we are working on lots of things that I'm very excited about, and I hope you will enjoy them too - once we get all our planning done! One thing at a time!

Thanks so much for all your support! Glitter Girl, Adhesive Avenger, and I all thank you for your tremendous high five power.

Hey Glitter Girl-
In response to make your videos drive sales for 2 peas - I notice that when you put out your BOBW Kits- I bought every item automatically (even if I may not have picked it. I subconsciously (in retrospect) did this in hopes of starting with the same materials as you resulting in ending with a similar layout. Although, I do not believe it would be an identical end page- I do think that the thought of it gave me added confidence in my ability to make something I like. In other words, maybe there are others that would buy "kits" or groups of products if they knew there would be Shimelle or Glitter Girl process videos directly related to said "kit".

I'm so glad you responded, Shimelle, to let us know that you still enjoy enabling us every Wednesday. I love love love watching and listening to your process. I have learned so much.

I would like to echo michellepharm's comments about your BOBW kits. For several years, I subscribed to several kit clubs but really never used them so I quit buying them. When BOBW kits were introduced in January, I didn't jump on the bandwagon. But when I saw your videos and layouts using up the kit that month, I was sold. I have bought every one of them since. It is such a great feeling to buy products (here, of course) and actually use them up. Most of the layouts I created in 2013 were layouts I created with my BOBW kits.

What I love about the BOBW concept is that, as my confidence grew, I was able to substitute some of the papers or stamps or embellishments to suit whatever layouts I wanted to work on that month. I was still able to follow along with your videos/layouts because I had still purchased the same "types" of supplies. Your BOBW approach is a brilliant concept for people who want to scrap with a "little help from our friend."

So to plead my case for combining GG videos with BOBW kits , I can testify that (1) BOBW kits combined with (2) videos/sketches/layouts certainly increased my purchases here and my scrapping productivity. Truly, the Best of Both Worlds!

Congrats GG on your 100th episode!! I absolutely loved episode 100! The fact that you shared your album with your style changes throughout the years mean't so much to me! The thing I love about you is although you make beautiful pages you are very practical in your approach. By seeing your album I feel more centered in my approach to telling the story of my family through my eyes. It is good to know that you are out there solving scrappy dilemas, I say carry on!!!

I really love the Glitter Girl videos, I've been struggling with ill health right at the end of my pregnancy (I'm due xmas eve) and watching the videos again from the beginning has been really distracting and comforting.

So what's the best way to ensure that TwoPeas recognises Shimelle's influence on your purchases? I do a few big shops a year (I'm in the UK so that makes the best sense) and Glitter Girl is basically the main reason I do all my scrapbooking shopping at this store. I often add products she's used to my wishlist to buy later.

Should I go to her website and then click on twopeas before placing a big order? How do I make sure she gets the credit for my purchases?

I think if you put it in your shopping cart from the listed products on the GG page, she gets credit. If it goes to your wishlist before your shopping cart then she doesn't.

I can say this with all honesty- glitter girl is the reason I shop here. I can buy all my scrappy stuff elsewhere cheaper , but I shop here because of the free videos of glitter girl. I know there ire other video's during the week but glitter girl is the only one that clicked for me . Because I learned so much from her and two peas decided to offer this free class , I gave them my business. I truly hope glitter girl comes back for another year. If she hangs up her sparkle cape , well it was a grand adventure and I learned so much and thank her

Thanks so much. answers to those last few questions:

Sorry, I don't think it would be possible to announce Glitter Girl's supplies far in advance, as there are just too many variables with inventory and how long things take to get to me and all that sort of thing. I also worry that if I had to commit to a certain set of supplies in advance, I would find myself hitting my creative head against a desk some weeks. One of the reasons I love working for two peas is that they let us pick whatever we want to use from all their different products. we do, however, make every effort for the vast majority (and ideally all) of the products in her videos are in good stock when each episode goes live.

Re: BOBW kits - I am pretty sure these will have to remain separate, but will keep this in mind if there is an opportunity for the two to work together. However, I have been working on a plan to make 2014 a better year for BOBW in terms of keeping current. No promises, but I have some things I think are really going to help a lot. I think, I hope! definitely want it to be something I can keep on top of. It's editing that is a big challenge for me, as editing + upload is a full working day and that obviously has to improve if I'm going to have more than one video a week, as two videos is ridiculously close to four days work! I have asked for an extra day a week for Christmas, but in case that doesn't appear under the tree, I have a few other ideas to try.

Re: how you can support Glitter Girl and all of the Garden Girls, yes the most direct way is to add products to your basket (not your wish list) right from the supply list below that project in the gallery. It's fine if it sits in your shopping cart quite a while if you only shop now and then. That's fine! And honestly, we appreciate all your purchases regardless of how you add things to your cart!! but sales on that page is the most direct way we can see that watching a video etc convinced you to do some shopping.

And extra thanks for the sentiment that you choose to shop here because you enjoy the videos. It's the shopping that makes those videos possible, so I really, really appreciate that you made that choice. Thank you!

Actually, watching the videos and looking at the BOBW kits has inspired me to buy items I might not have even known about before. For example, I don't usually search alpha stickers since I have so many, but I did see some on one of the BOBW I really liked and bought them.

Love the Glitter Girl videos. When I came back to scrapping it was one of the things that helped me to update my style and get back into making layouts. Looking forward to future adventures.

Merry Christmas!

I want to thank you for reminding us to click the products into our carts directly from the video page vs. putting in our wishlist. I am a culprit of the wishlist category. My New Year's resolution is I LOVE GG, loved your 4x6 photo love, too. I certainly hope Glitter Girl will continue on in 2014. (I would also like to put a plug in for Scrap your stash too.) Thanks for all you do! Lisa

I hope so too! I LOVE the glitter girl videos. Actually, I love all the garden girls videos and started recently shopping at 2peas because of the videos (and this forum). However I was not aware that I should shop for the supply lists. I will do that from now on. Thank you GG for this valuable resource for me.
