Today we had a photo shoot for our Christmas card so I'll definitely be using that as a huge enlargement in my album.
Tomorrow is our Christmas program at church and my daughter is playing a Doctor (and she's decided she wants to be an actress!) so that will be fun to journal about.
I love that we're documenting this here because if I forget what I'm doing, I can check back.
How about you? Are you keeping up? Are you printing your pics? What did you do for days 10 and 11?
|Posted: 12/10/2013 11:58:13 PM|A few photos have been printed - note to self: pick them up!
Planning on working on the actual album this weekend.
Day 10: went to Sweet & Sassy - dd got her hair/makeup/nails done and then we all got in the limo and went through one of those Christmas light displays that you drive through.
Day 11: already scrapped - my Christmas bucket list. Wanted to force myself to try some new things & really make Christmas fun for my youngest. She's 8 and I'm pretty sure this is the last year for her ardent belief in Santa, her Elf and all things magical.

Drove over to meet the grandkids from school as SIL was stuck longer on his commute (snow issues).
DH took Little Mr P to his reading club and Little Miss C and I finished up the teacher cards. Took a photo...they are so cute.
Today is the first day they wore their new snow pants and jackets to school. Grabbed a photo of them walking to the truck in their full snowsuits and boots. When they are new the pants are sort of stiff and have a life of their own...they had that funny new snow pants and new snow boots walk...sort of a clunky gait. Tried to catch that in my photo.
We stayed till suppertime to pick up grandson after reading club and take him back home...It was dark when we drove back to our house and we went through some gorgeous Xmas lights...grabbed a couple of photos through the open truck window...hopefully they turn out!
Tomorrow, my photo will be of the lineup at he post office as I mail the last of my in-town Christmas cards...dropped off a bunch today and the line was 18 people long and one lady working...sadly I did not have my camera. I am going to take a photo of the line up and once I get to the counter, a photo of the scale and the little stick slot thingy they test the depth of the homemade cards with!!!
I think compared to most, my topics are fairly boring. I always seem to chase my tail the first 10 or 12 days of the month, and then I have most of the Christmas prep done and can relax through the season.

Day 10 - The kids and I decorated a gingerbread house.
Day 11 - Not sure yet. DH & I will probably go shopping today, maybe stop for lunch so I can highlight that.
I'm behind. The last page I did was Day 5. I know I can catch up quick so I'm not worried.

My daughter went to see a theatre show yesterday with her class, so that is going in for the 10th. I also made our gift tags for presents yesterday, so that will likely go in for today.
I just got my photos back for the first week of December. Now I just need to actually buy an album. I'll likely put it all together after the holidays anyway since I want to group it by theme rather than by date, so I'm not in a huge rush.

Day 10 was a picture of the Toys for Tots drop off area at work. I dropped my item off the day before but forgot my camera so I grabbed it yesterday morning.
Day 11 in my DD is a page just for journaling. I can't remember what the topic is right now though. I usually do my journaling at night after everything is done and I'm sitting with only the tree lights on in the LR.

The last day I finished was day 8. I have to go out of town so I'm going to get 2 more days behind. This weekend though I should have time to catch up!
I do have photos printed so that is a huge step.

I'm still here, but I can honestly say I'm behind. lol Yesterday we did some Santa shopping, but I took no photos. I hesitate to, because the kids don't know my DH took the day off and I don't want them to ask questions. So I'm not sure what I will do for yesterday! And today I have no idea either!

Day 10 - I did some shopping, mailed out my Secret Santa gift and had dinner out with DH & DS.
Day 11 - We got DS's PSAT test scores back today, so I will definitely use that for today. He's a freshman and took the test more for practice. He did awesome!!

I am still with you...at least with taking photos (either my me or one of my daughters). BUT I have yet to actually make a page. I am still on the fence about format. I was going to do simple 6 X 6 chipboard book with rings, but now I am thinking maybe I should use page protectors since I have several 8 x 8 albums hanging around.

Still here! Day 10 was Elf toasting a marshmallow over a candle and the 6 dozen cookies I baked and packaged up for my DD school cookie boutique for the staff and teachers. Day 11 Elf was hanging out in the tree and I received a lovely gift from my boss from Williams Sonoma.
