8 to 8, but it is supposed to snow Saturday overnight. Normally I wouldn't care, but to get to this place I have to drive over a small mountainish road that can be treacherous. I can cancel by 6 tonight, but I really want to go.

I just don't see why people think I'm too patronizing (that means I treat them as if they were stupid.)

Thats a tough one Could advise to make sure you go slow and steady and have your snow tires on.
But safe is always better than sorry

WOW, that is a tough one! If it were close I would totally do it, BUT if it were me...I would cancel and stay home and scrap in my PJs. I also think about what a pain in the butt it would be to load/unload in those conditions. So sorry.

I was "snowed in" once on a scrapbook retreat at a retreat center - the retreat center literally would not allow us to leave on checkout day due to weather. It was AWESOME! Our group had the whole place to ourselves - the only bad part was we didn't have cooked meals. Since the staff were unable to come to work, we had to defend for ourselves and eat PB sandwiches we found in kitchen. Best.Retreat.eva!

Look at it this way, would you want to leave all your scrap stuff in your car if you got stranded and had to leave your car? Not to even mention the chance something could happen to you. Stay home and do some cropping there.

I hate that!
Are you going alone? I have a scrapping weekend planned in January, and I'm totally anxious about how the weather will be!

Good luck making your decision

My thoughts exactly. I'm so sorry. I'd be disappointed. But, on the bright side, you already have that time scheduled to scrap so why not get yourself some yummy snacks, your favorite pajamas, and a few movies to watch and scrap at home? You can still make a great day of it.

I agree with others who say stay home. I am a person who would go drive through snow cause I live in oh. BUT the storms we all have been having have had lots of ice or freezing rain. It may only have freezing rain for w short while but the roads would still be icy no matter what. I agree with having something happen to your stuff. Enjoy yourself at home.

Nothing is worth your safety. I wouldn't go, I've driven through a snow storm for scrapping an it was so dangerous and took such a long time to reach home that I would never ever consider it again. I'd rather stay home and be safe and sound.
