I recently bought a Project Life kit, the kind that is actually made by Becky Higgins. I also have been subbing to Studio Calico's PL kit for a while now, but haven't actually been using the kits. I'm ready to start an album now, and have found that none of the cards (Project Life or the SC kit) fit into my We R Memory Keepers page protectors.

These are the typical PL page protectors that were sold FOR PL, a few years ago. Maybe 2011? They look exactly like the ones that are sold now, with two horizontal 4x6 photos on top, two on bottom, and room for 4 of the little cards in the middle.

I could buy more, but will they fit my cards? What page protectors are you all using with PL? The Studio Calico cards are especially thick, so I hope I can find something that will work with them.

**UPDATE**

I just wanted to update in case anyone else runs into this problem. Today I found the Project Life page protectors at Michael's and decided to try a pack. ALL of my cards, both the PL brand cards and my Studio Calico cards, fit just fine in the actual PL protectors. I'm so happy I don't have to trim!

I'm not sure if there is a difference in the old protectors and the new ones since I'mjust starting. But iI do know that the BH PL protectors are not true to size. The 3x4 are actually 2.98x3.98 and same with the 4x6. Maybe try trimming off just a tiny bit and see if they fit better. Hope that helps..

I'm sure they'll fit fine if I trim them, but then they won't have that nice curve unless I corner round them. And then it becomes SO much more work to have to cut every single little card, that for me it kind of defeats the purpose of PL being quick and easy! lol

I never used to have a problem with the PL life cards fitting into WRMK protectors. I guess they're making them bigger now.

Any other advice? I'd really rather just have PPs that will work with the PL cards. I need more anyway!

I know there have been problems with the PL cards even fitting into their own brand of page protectors. I've had to shave a bit off the top or side occasionally. I've had no problems with the WRMK ones actually.

Oy. I noticed earlier today that there are actual PL page protectors, sold by Becky Higgins. I was thinking I would go this route. But her own protectors don't fit her cards? How nuts is that???

I haven't had trouble with PL cards fitting into PL page protectors, mine have all worked great!

I was going to say that I'd heard some of the earlier ones had problems, not a lot, but I had some problems with a few--glad you worked it out!
