Ok I opened my box and got it all set up and then threw the blue piece away not knowing it had to stay to connect the blade. Can I still use the blade or do I need to call them and get another blue piece to lock the blade into place. Also the blade does not go down that far I tried turning it with the gray thing on the cameo floor. Also when I try to change the number setting nothing moves.

Yea I'm looking everywhere for the latch online can't seem to find one. Has anyone else lost there's and they send you a new one.

The blue plastic latch locks the blade in place. Is that the piece you threw away?
I think you need to call Silhouette. That isn't a piece that normally needs replacing.
Also, the blade doesn't need to stick out that far, just far enough to cut through your material. A piece of cardstock is not all that thick, even the heavier stuff.
I got my machine on Black Friday, and I use the settings the software telsl me to use. I have gotten great cuts every time, except when my blade came unscrewed from the piece that is supposed to hold it. That was kind of weird and unexpected. I carefully screwed the blade piece back in to the tubelike holder, just using my fingers, and it has worked perfectly for me since.
I definitely think you need to call Silhouette about the blue latch. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure they are not open on the weekend.

There is a grey plastic ring that comes with the blade. You need to use this to change the numbers. There should also be an extra one on the left side of the machine in front of the rollers.
And, unfortunately you need the blue piece to hold the blade. I'm sure Silhouette can send you and extra one.
