I have a little epson printer and its ok, it can only take 1 sheet at a time so I have to hand feed it. So I have been avoiding using it lol I do like that I can print 2 or 4 photos per 4 x 6 So maybe thats why I haven't switched.
So my question is do you print at home or send off?
If you print at home, what printer do you have or recommend?
If you send off, where do you go? any places that offer like a subscription and you get a better price?
any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated! TIA

Great question! I have a canon selphy that I haven't used in a while and I pulled it out last night because I felt like scrapping. So, for impromptu scrapping I use my Canon Selphy. For planned scrapping I send out.

I usually send out to Persnickety Prints. They do beautiful work! Mpix is also great (my only complaint about them is they dump your files every 60 days if you haven't ordered).
I print occasionally at home, but 95% of what I scrap is printed by a processor.

I send out to Costco (5 min from my house). I use PSE or Picasa ' s collage function to print as many photos as I want and standard size photos.

I send out to snapfish or shutterfly depending on who is running a special at the time.

Both. If I have a lot of pics I order from Shutterfly. If I have a recent photo on my phone that I want to scrap & not wait for enough to get free shipping from above, I use Selphy. I just got it a couple of months ago & haven't used it much but it is so convenient. love it! I also have an older HP photo printer that I kept because I have paper & ink to use & used it for the same things that I am using Selphy for.

I used to always send off for printing using Shutterfly. Now I print mostly at home. I found I was having to reprint my photos to change their size anyway. And this way I'm keeping up to date with my printing. I can edit, collage if necessary, print them off and immediately put them into their respective page protectors all at once.
So for now, mostly at home. And I use an Epson Artisan 700 and something printer. It's older but it still prints some awesome photos.
