I'm in the middle of moving my stuff and I don't think I've used more than a couple of these things. Most of it I'd forgotten I had. I'm thinking about giving it all away-but will I regret it? Is anyone interested for the cost of shipping?

I still use eyelets a bit. I have a few jars of flowers that I need to pull out and use to get rid of them. Thanks for reminding me...I think I will use some today on Valentine's for a few of my students.

Eyelets are dead to me. Flowers live on my LOs.

And yes, I still use paper flowers all the time! I usually use them with brads instead of eyelets, but I still use eyelets once in a while too.
|Posted: 2/5/2014 7:06:04 AM|I'm about to get rid of about 1,000 eyelets as I haven't used them in about three years. Time to make room for some new items.

Eyelets love being in my cards doing corset style lacing and stuff (hmm that would look cool on a layout) now I am goin to my craft room.

I was never an eyelet fan, but I have a garden full of paper flowers.

I think I have about a billion eyelets of various sizes & colors in my stash! LOL I need to pull them out and use them. I still love them.

I have never been much of a flower person, every once in a great while. I have a ton of eyelets but the only thing I recall using them on anymore is tags. They don't take up much space, so they stay.....I would love to see how others are using them up.

Eyelets...it's pretty rare. I kept a couple multi-colored neutral packs but got rid of all my shaped and otherwise colored eyelets. Flowers, I still use quite a bit. I kept my stash of Primas and the like, but I am not buying new ones. I am more likely to cut them out with my Cameo now.
|Posted: 2/5/2014 12:20:09 PM|
Looks like you found some homes for them!
I do use some paper flowers. I might still use eyelets if you just stuck them on the page. I don't like the work involved in setting them. I am lazy, lazy, lazy about that kind of thing.
|Posted: 2/5/2014 12:32:32 PM|I did find a home for them! I'll be packaging them up for her this afternoon. I actually feel good that they'll be used and not just sitting there taking up space.
|Posted: 2/5/2014 12:35:28 PM|
eyelets, not so much. I have kept a few because they take up so little space, but I haven't used them in a while. I still like paper flowers on my cards.

I still have eyelets. After reading this post I realize I will never use them. Brads are just
so much easier to use and there are just so many other easier and more beautiful small embellishments to use. Time for them to go...

I use eyelets to reinforce holes in my mini albums I have NEVER used eyelets decoratively they have always been hole reinforcers to me. So yes I still use them.
Flowers...of course I still use them. I have tons in my stash and I make them myself too. I love love love flowers. I hate how trends have changed and there are less flowers available. I thank the crafty gods daily that Prima still lives to fulfill my flower loving needs.

|Posted: 2/5/2014 5:35:25 PM|Is there a way that you could possible alter the eyelets or the brads.. I know a week or so ago I dipped a few of mine into gold fine glitter to scatter around my page.. I even did it with some teen tiny wood veeners which would be about the same sie as a brad or eyelet..

I never have used eyelets for anything UNTiL I began making banners for my ballroom dance studio. They are the ideal hole reinforcements for threading ribbon through each segment. Plus they add a little pop of color. Who knew I would need them after 10 years, lol!
|Posted: 2/6/2014 12:13:33 PM|Wow, we have so many people who love eyelets here? shaped eyelets to? round eyelets? big or small?

I have always liked the old Prima plain colored flowers that were smaller in size and wish I had bought more. I never bought eyelets.
|Posted: 2/7/2014 11:33:54 AM|
I still love eyelets. The old-style Prima flowers are one of my regrets - I loved them but never managed to justify the cost so didn't ever get any. They are just so cute and look so versatile though

Eyelets for tags and banners (love banners on birthday layouts). There was a time that flowers were on every.single.layout. so I have jars full - I will use them once in a while especially with butterfly paper or spring layouts.
I'm not a shiny farmwife - but I do love all things shiny as well... go Firefly!!!!!

I haven't used eyelets in a long time, but I was never really good at finding good uses for them in the first place. I don't use paper flowers that often, but I just used several on a layout this weekend. I'm going to try to use what I have but I doubt I'll buy any more flowers.
