I bought these awhile back, and never used them because they didn't fit any of my LOs. I wanted to use them the other day, so I pulled them out and tried in vain to peel them off the backing...I had to really struggle to get them loose, which because they are such a small, delicate font caused them to buckle and fold IF I could get them off at all. Not impressed, and not happy at all. Is t just me (or my set of Kensies or are there issues?)
ETA: I see a few other people had issues when I went to post a review of these...

Eek! Thanks for sharing. I purchased a bunch of those Thickers (the font was just so darn cute to pass up) but haven't used any of them. Do you plan to contact American Crafts and ask them to replace the Thickers? If so, please keep us updated. Thanks!
|Q: So do any of you feel bad that you have all these designs and don't use them?
A: Do golfers feel bad about all of the money they spend per hour golfing with nothing to show for it? People in bowling leagues? Nope. Me neither.

I don't think I have that font but there are issues with lots of the Thickers. Most fall off the backing before they even leave the store.
And yet...I LOVE THEM! I have hundreds of sets and still want more; so I guess I just deal with their imperfections.

Yeah, Kensie is delicate, but I love them and I use a tool to take them off the backing so the don't buckle or rip. I think AC improved their adhesive, which I appreciate! But that means things like Kensie, and even some of the foam thickers, are hard to get off the backing.

Some of the thickers are a gamble, and I could see how these might be.
I would recommend talking to AC, they're really responsive.

Thanks everyone. I don't feel so badly now...do you think they would still help as I am in Australia? I bought them through 2Peas. Does anyone have a contact email?

I had issues with a set of Thickers not having a letter x in them. I contacted American Crafts and Amy from AC sent a few other sets of Thickers to make up for that. I'm in the US so I don't know what they will do for you. I found the email on their website. Amy was very friendly and helped out quite a bit so I wouldn't hesitate in contacting them again if I ever had issues! Hth!
