I have never ordered prints off line and I was wondering if the quality is good? I think they are having a 55% off on orders over $30 so I thought it would be a good time to order some pictures...

i use them almost exclusively. i have compared against several other printers (same photos at both places) several times and for the price they win.

I use Snapfish exclusively and I am super picky about my prints. Be sure that you upload them at full resolution and do NOT click color correct if you've already edited them.

Personally, I wait until the 100 for $10 shipped or 300 for $30 shipped sales which come around often. The shipping will hurt if you don't!

Oh I think they have that sale going on now also... is that better than 55% off? I am printing 1000 photos (or close). and I don't think you can use two coupon codes at once.

But I am so glad to hear they are good quality I was a little nervous. But I figured you guys would know best!

I do not care for them. Especially when they have a big sale and the volume is increased, I won't order from them. I admit I'm a print snob, I think it's a classic case of you get what you pay for. If you pay for 1¢ prints, well, you get what you pay for.

If you are really concerned about quality, Persnickety Prints or Mpix.com are the places to go. (full disclosure - they both have faults - Persnickety has a less than perfect website, Mpix dumps your photos every 60 days w/o orders. But their prints quality is way better).

I almost always use them for prints....even my wedding photos....and have been pleased with the results, price, and their service. I usually pick matte for the finish.

Not to be argumentative, but I only order on the big sales and I've never had a bad quality batch!

I don't think it's going on right now. If it is - tell me the code! LOL

the codes for the 300 prints shipped and the 100 prints shipped are :

Must use code FEBPRT3 to receive 300 4" x 6" prints for $29, or code FEBPRT1 to receive 100 4" x 6" prints for $10, including shipping.

I almost always use Snapfish- the only time I don't is if I need something right away for an assignment and need to print at home. I've always been pleased with their quality and almost always order during a sale, and I've not noticed any degradation in quality when they have a sale. I do always do my own editing, though, and have permanently turned off the option to have them do it, so that may make a difference.

They run sales very often, and you can find their special offers listed here- http://www.snapfish.com/snapfish/photo-gifts/coupon-codes .

And the fine print of the print codes usually says you can use the code either 3 or 5 times per account - so you would be able to place several orders if you've got a thousand pics to print.

I've always been happy with my prints from Snapfish, they are better than my local printing options.

Hey, if you're happy with them, great!

I quit ordering from them after being very frustrated with their color and graininess (I was usually ordering on penny and such sales). I switched to Mpix and, sorry, but there was just no looking back. There is a major difference. I then switched to Persnickety because Mpix dumps your files regularly.

Last year I did a print comparison ordering the same image from different printers. I will say, Snapfish did better than I expected - but I paid full price and previously my orders had been on the mass sales. I admit I'm a print snob, if I could magically change my career, I'd be a photographer, I have very high standards. I want close to a professional print when I order my prints.

So I ordered 536 pictures and got it for $44! woot I think thats a good deal.

I got my pictures yesterday. And I think I will stick to gettign them from costco. I chose the "no crop" button idk if that is where went wrong but some pictures seam like they were zoomned in. for example if I had a picture of my bf on my phone I see all of him on the picture I got I see from his nose down or something weird. also there are atleast 5 pictures that didnt get printed at all.

Luckaly there are only 6 pictures that are so bad I need to reprint but its weird and I porbably wont order from them again.

but this is just me I am glad that other people like them

Yep, Poke...exactly my experience &I've tried more than once. I figured last time I chose to to crop them on accident & I screwed up the order so this time I made sure to click the do not crop & I still had several pics with heads cut off. The colors are all wrong on one whole series of them. I am sitting here now about to upload them somewhere else. I'm done with snapfish.

I even placed an order of some pics for my mom - from her computer & she fussed about the colors too. I did order during one of the good codes the other week.

did you try printing and hit the "crop" button? I kinda of want to try that but don't want to waist more money because with out a good deal going on costco is cheaper.

I tired a few different brands. Last time I ordered on purpose from Snapfish and Shutterfly to compare because I had noticed that the colors in the Snapfish prints were off. Sure enough, snapfish prints were darker and the colors not as true/nice as shutterfly. I only use shutterfly now. They have promotions often too
