Has anyone purchased these and cut them into shapes? I was so hoping to cut them with my Cameo but they are too thick. Also too thick for the cuttlebug and sizzix dies I have. Will the thin metal dies work? TIA

I have been able to cut chunky letters with my Quickutz hand tool. The skinny fonts don't work well, but you would not see the texture with those anyway.

That's interesting. I looked at the corrugated stack and thought I'd be able to use my dies with it. I never even thought it wouldn't cut.

Does the Cuttlebug work as good as the Big Shot? I'm just wondering if it has the same cutting power since it's smaller.

It kind of works with the sizzix dies - I only have a few and they are detailed. (Concentric circles - it cut the outer edge but nothing else.)

My LSS has Lifestyle nesting dies on sale until tomorrow and if they work, I'll run out and shop! But I don't know if they are sharper or if this paper just doesn't want to be cut!

Which Sizzix dies are not working? If they are the thin ones, then more than likely other thin dies will have issues also. Have you tried the Sizzlits or Cuttlebug dies? The Sizzix steel rule dies should work, they cut regular chipboard just fine.

I have the the corrugated stack (and other various corrugated papers) and have never had a problem cutting shapes/letters using my Sizzix dies. I do use the steel rule dies, not the sizzlets (thin dies). And I am using an old original Sizzix machine.

I had a stack in my hands the other day, but I think cutting the corrugated paper with a wafer thin die will just flatten out the paper. Running it through a die cutter will compress the paper to the same thickness of the die.

Instead, I have a gizmo that corrugated the paper. It's by the Fiskar cutters at Mikes. You cut the letter and then roll them through the corrugator. It doesn't cut--it just crimps.

This is what I bought. It's about $20, so is use a coupon.

Thanks for the responses! I ran out and got some thin dies and they work! I guess the sizzles(?) that I had weren't tough enough!

I just used that stack with Papertrey Ink dies this weekend and it cut beautifully. The cards are on my blog now - you can see them here. DCWV Corrugated Paper

Sabrina, your cards are awesome. I am glad to know before I look for it that it is on the thicker side. Has anyone tried it with spellbinders/lifestyle crafts dies?

Thank you Momto2! I have a bunch of spellbinders but have no tried them on this particular paper yet. I have used them on the corkboard and they work well for the most part. I've had to do a little trimming here and there, but nothing major.
