Has anyone taken any of her online workshops? How was it? Was it well organized and did you learn a lot? Was it fun? Tell me about it.

I am thinking of taking a couple of them. I am considering the Behind the Art workshop and She Art 3.

I am taking her 3 hearts online class (self paced). It is wonderful. The videos and her work is very inspiring. I want to create right after I watch the videos.

I took one and loved it.

She had lots of great ideas. She demonstrated lots of techniques I had never seen or thought about, it was fun.

It was a big enabling thing though - I wanted every product she talked about/demonstrated.

I feel like I should also mention that I took a class the second time she offered it and other people in the class complained that she wasn't on our class message board very much/didn't respond to comments on the videos. That wasn't a big deal to me, personally, but it's something to consider.

Overall I would take another class from her.

Were they well organized? I have watched some of her videos and she seems a little scattered at times. For example, having to stop and open packages and hunt for things. That kind of bugs me, I would think if you were going to do a video you would be prepared and have everything ready and things out of the packages.

I will give my 2 cents and that's all it's worth. Ironic that I see this question on the board today because I just found some notes from a class I took from her...There were two things that bugged me about her classes. One, SOME TIMES during her videos she would need to get something or whatever and that was a tad irritated because like you said, if you are doing a video, one would think you'd be really organized. HOWEVER, that really didn't bother me to much because I do love her go with the flow approach and seeing her process. The one thing (and reason I won't take another class) is that her classes are only open for a certain length of time. Now, I took a rather expensive class and didn't realize the materials were only availabe for a certain length of time (yes, My fault for not reading details). I've taken classes here, at SC and BPS and I have unlimited access to my classes which I think should be. When you pay for something you should have unlimited access to it. Sorry, but I am super busy (like all of us) and while 6 months or whatever MIGHT seem like a long time, really isn't. I am still going over classes at BPS that I took 2 years ago. just my 2 cents..

Brave girl classes are only open for a short time, I think 3 months. I wanted to do another Soul Book and would have benefitted from watching the videos again. I did save the pdf's and printables, but it would be nice if you could re-visit those whenever you want.

I emailed Brave Girls and was told I would need to re-purchase the class to see the videos again. I realize they do this to make a living but money is tight these days and this is a splurge for me to do these.

I do like Christy's go with the flow style and always feel inspired after watching some of her videos. I will probably try one of the classes. I really like her backgrounds and would like to learn more about how to do those.

Yes, she shuffles things, looks for things, opens things, etc.
I think it's just part of her go with the flow personality.

she has three hearts has a TON of videos, seemed like an endless stream of them. I like her go with the flow attitude, kind of like chatting with someone, but if that sort of thing annoys you, she might not be the best teacher for you.

Not sure I would take she art 3 without taking the first ones though.

I took 3 hearts and the content was absolutely amazing. Tons of technique videos. The only negative thing about Christy's courses is that the access is time limited. If you don't have time to finish the course within the time limit, or if you want to repeat something, you have to pay again. I don't buy courses unless they have lifetime access, but I made an exception with this course.
