|Posted: 5/6/2014 7:43:14 AM|Lately I have been obsessed with The Charcoal Rubber Thickers from Amy Tangerine's Cut and Paste line...these ones...
I have used them on a bunch of layouts and I still them! They are such a lovely grey and so thin but they make such a great impact on a layout! I have a package of the pink ones as well, but I haven't even opened them, not sure why... In fact, I am embarrassed to admit, I ordered two more packs because I can't find them in charcoal pretty much anywhere anymore and I fear they will be gone for good soon.
So, now it is your turn to confess...what are you obsessed with lately?

I have to admit if I'm going to be obsessed with something, it's usually letter stickers. I love those in grey as well, although I didn't get a chance to nab any. I am loving the Jillibean Bean Board alphas in yellow. They are a bit of a pain to sort through but I love the pop of colour they provide.

I have lately been obsessed with tile letter stickers of almost any kind: october afternoon mini market, simple stories typeset, glitz, etc. I just ordered a bunch of the studio calico essentials stickers to keep my obsession well-fueled!
|Posted: 5/6/2014 11:06:51 AM|I am obsessed Alphas too. I love the OctoberAfternoon DailyFlash alphas. I have two packs of all the colors I'm thinking about getting some more before they stop selling them.
|Posted: 5/6/2014 11:34:44 AM|I am loving the script font thickers. Like these
I only bought one pack because I didn't think I would use them. Now that I love them, I am hoping I can find them somewhere so I can get the other colors!

There are several Thickers that I really like - one of my favorites is the lime-green glitter ones in the Eclair font.
But my all-time favorite letter stickers were the OA Sticky Keys - just the right size for so many things. Maria

I tend to use my silhouette the most for titles and what not. My favorite alphas/thickers tend to be whatever is on sale. I love alphabet stickers and thickers, but I'm not willing to pay $5+ on alphabets I can only use a few times (my wish list is full of them though lol). The small amount of thickers & alphabet stickers I do have are saved for "special" layouts.

I've never met a Bella Blvd, Doodlebug, or Basic Grey alpha sticker I didn't like. Also, I was gaga for KI Memories alphas. I miss those a lot.

|Posted: 5/6/2014 9:33:20 PM|This is fun reading everyone's alpha obsessions! I see a number of you are loving some of the other alphas I love right now as well!
@LisaDorothy..i love those too! I only have 1 pack, but I love the chunky soft gold glitter!
@Noona14 I have almost all of the OA DF Alphas too! They are wonderful for titles. I really like that they come with a mini market type block and either a script or standard letter on the other side! Makes mixing and matching easy. And did you notice the block letters are different fonts?
@Treyaut I remember you generously gave a RAK out of some Thickers awhile back! BTW so proud of you and your frozen progress, almost there!
@Maria My 10 year old daughter just bought a pack of those lime eclair Thickers with her own money at our LSS! She has recently started scrapping and loves it! It is a beautiful font.
@Harmony Awww now I feel nostalgic for my KI Bubble letters! I was so into those when I first started scrapping I bought a million extras! In fact, I probably still have them in storage in the US someplace...I didn't ship them to Australia when I moved.
Will I ever get to Buckethead?!

I was way obsessed with these kraft-based letter stickers from Pebbles a couple of years ago. Now my Thicker obsession is in full force. I'm hard pressed to complete a layout without a title made of Thickers of some sort.

I have had an obsession with a couple of commercial fonts, but it started with a particular Thickers set.
The first font that I was obsessed with was Monroe. Thickers used it for one of their alpha sets, which Glitter Girl used during an episode. I loved the Monroe font so much, that I ended up buying it when it went on sale. I couldn't find the Thicker packs that used that font, and I have a hard time buying Thickers or alphas, anyway, since I can cut alphas on my electronic cutter and get a perfect color match in my choice of paper or cardstock (or glitz it up with my preference of glitter color).
Then after Monroe, I became obsessed with the Samantha font by Laura Worthington, a beautiful font with lots of flourish options.
Yesterday, after watching for months, hoping it would go on sale, I decided it never would and finally bought it anyway.
My other obsessions are stamps and patterned papers.
Obsessions can get expensive. At least mine seem to, whether a big expense up front like a commercial font, or a little expense multiplied many times over like the stamps and papers.
