So I bought a giant bucket of beads to make the DIY faux enamel dots. They came out great, full and half size, and I made a ton.

On NSD I finally used some on a layout, attaching them with Glossy Accents. Yesterday I was showing my layout to someone and two of the 5 dots fell off!!!!! ARGH!!!!

Has anyone had success keeping these on? Have you checked how well they are staying on? I was not skimpy with the Glossy Accents. It is still on the paper, but it seems the dot just came right off. What adhesive works better?

I have used the mini glue dots. I am not sure that they would work on really small ones. I hope that helps

I used a ZIG glue pen and they have held fast so far.

I used the micro glue dots and they've held great. That's what I use for all that tiny stuff.

Wow, I thought Glossy Accents held everything together. I've also made some of these dots but haven't used any yet. Guess I'll have to re-think the adhesive. Glossy was always what I used when nothing else would work. Thanks for posting. Maria

heck, I've just used glossy accents....

The Glossy Accents held fine while the page was perfectly flat, but when I picked it up to show to someone (out of a page protector) the very slight bend/curving of the paper just popped the dots off. The dots are totally rigid, and the Glossy Accents glue is quite rigid when it dries, so maybe the other adhesives are more flexible. Even in page protectors, as I look through an album the pages often flex quite a bit.

I use the Zots Bling glue dots. Perfect size for the melted Perler beads (and for sequins - my original use).

I've been using the micro glue dots in the pink box. I got them at J's.
