Yea! What theme are you thinking? I can't decide between a boy or a girl... |

I could do either boy or girl or even a summer theme would be fun. I always have so many summer photos and never seem to do anything with them.
Shall we choose a color theme or would you rather pick a certain paper line to use as the main focus? Either way is fine with me and I'll have to shop no matter which way we choose.
I am thinking that we would each make two sets of 5 pages (keep one set for ourselves and send the 5 duplicates to each other) We can bind them ourselves and then we'd have a 10 page book when finished.
Let me know what you think. I am totally flexible. I only ask for a due date maybe at the end of September? My summers are so busy running 3 kids to sports and activities and we are never home on the weekends. Once school starts I'll have more time. This is probably totally opposite your schedule, but hopefully we can make something work!
I look forward to hearing from you.

Summer sounds good!! Actually, this summer is beyond crazy! Keith is doing classes for his principal's cert., our old German exchange student is staying with us for 3 weeks, along with assorted summer camps, swim lessons... Yep! Lots of time in the car!!
Enid of September sounds great! I'd rather choose a color scheme than be tied to one particular paper line... |

OK, so summer it is. Glad our schedules seem pretty much the same. I'd rather not rush, so let's aim for the end of September and see how they are coming along at that time.
What color scheme should we go with? Like I said before, I will have to shop no matter what, so if you have something already, we can start from there. Let me know.
I am excited for this project and already can't wait to see what we come up with!
ETA: I like the books where the pages are all different sizes. What do you think? Let's not limit ourselves to just one standard page size. Go for a 5 x 7 as the largest and size down from there?

What about a variety of brights (not neon)- reds, turquoise, green, yellow, pink, off- blues... I'm good with whatever! We're at the lake and pool ally, so just bright and cheery! I love varying sizes, I have a bunch of chipboard I want to use... |

Just checking in with you, Kate! I have 2 pages finished and started my third. Can't wait to see what you are making!
On a side note...remember the swap you hosted where we all made little notes for the kids' lunchboxes? Wondering if you were thinking of hosting another one of those? (hint, hint!) With school right around the corner, I realized that most of what we made (or at least the categories I was in) are for spring. I'd love to have some for back-to-school, fall holidays, etc. Let me know if you are going to host another.
Thanks! | |

Actually, I was!! Grant is in school every day this year, and they'll go a lot faster!!
I have to fix a gunked up swap tonight, but I'm hoping to post it tomorrow, to get a quick turnaround!!
I've cut the background paper for each of your pages, and adhered it, now for the more fun parts!! |

I didn't put yours in with your love notes- it got a little crowded. Then I found a few more doo-dads I wanted to add, so I'll be mailing on Saturday! So fun! |

Hey, Kate!
It's been two months now since the agreed upon due date and I still have not received anything from you nor any information on shipping. Just wondering if you are still planning on holding up your end of the swap?
I peamailed you weeks ago and it still sits unread, so the only way for me to get in touch with you is here. I have seen you posting around the pod lately, so hopefully you will stop in here and give me a response.
Thanks. | |

I literally just mailed it two days ago! It got buried under some stuff I had ordered from amazon, and it completely slipped my mind! You should have it tomorrow, I would guess! I am SO sorry about that! |

I'm so glad! I felt really terrible when I saw it! Feels like summer was forever ago already, doesn't it? Have a Merry Christmas! |
