I hosted this swap 2 years ago and it has been requested that I revive this as we have so many new peas!
Okay Everyone...I don't know about you but I am really bad on remembering to keep track of who's screen name belongs to who, etc. and some have a hard time keeping track of addresses...you know who you are...LOL
So I was thinking for this swap we could:
Make a 4x6 cardfront PORTRAIT DIRECTION = 4" across and 6" tall [which will fit into a standard photo album, bind it all together etc.]
HERE is a example of the cards I made for the 2010 swap.
****you do not have to make them all the same, feel free to use your scraps ****
On the front of the card you MUST have:
*PeaName
*Name
*Address
*Birthday and Wedding Anniversary
*Photo of yourself
The following listed below is only optional:
Pea Anniversary
Email
phone number
On the back of the card, please include:
* Something about you, what you like to make [cards, scrapbooks, etc], other hobbies, if you sell anything, your blog, favorite sites.
* A mini wish list in case someone wants to RAK you.
* Things you love to work with and can never have enough [exp: glitter, brads, eyelets, stamps, ribbon, etc]
Design should be kind of simple and not very bulky as we want our books to close.
Here are the "rules":
1. BE ON TIME!! Due Date is September 19th. I will have these swapped out and mailed back no later than September 25th. If anyone is late, their package will be returned and not swapped out. I will be firm with this DD!!! These can easily be made in 1 day ~ very quick and simple swap!
2. FINAL COUNT = 14
3. MUST USE good quality cardstock - no flimsy paper please!
Send a SASE with enough stamps or cash [no metered mail] for the return trip. I'm thinking that a priority envelope with $4.95 would be easy to get everything fit into, but this will be up to you. I will not cover postage.

Sounds cool...I have a pack of like a zillion wallet size pictures of myself from my stint of working in my daughter's school library for 2 years. We got a free picture package cause they had to take our pics for the yearbook. I need to see if I can dig them up. I'm in!

COME ON ladies & mostly NEWBIES! These cards are soooooooo nice to have! They are just the right amount of info! If you have the addy of the hostess at your fingertips then you can get your package out & NOT have to wait for the hostess to post it! YOU also can put a face to the swap sisters! I LOVE my old set except we have so many newbies in the past year, I would love to have their info. SO PLEASE consider this swap a realllllly important one!

oh Rosie... just about every pic of me (by myself of course) looks JUST like that one!!! My parents even have one on their fridge of me doing the exact same thing LOL
And yes, I have a Glamour Shot too... I think it took me a week to wash off all that makeup...hehehehe

Becky....I know RIGHT!? Pic of yourself are hard to take! I usually am a "Poser" with no problem, but with someone with me...Hubby, Kids, G-babies, the dog, Micky mouse...as long as I am not alone! I had my daughter in law snap a couple yesterday, so we will see!

Mine are on there way Hubby mailed them for me so no confirmation I'm just hoping he remembered to put postage in side LOL says he did. He took my pic and I went to target and got them done cost me 50 cents got 9 pic on a 4x6 photo 25 cents for each 4x6. Hate my pitures too!!

Goodness...I have searched high and low and cannot find any of those packs of pictures I got for being faculty at school. I probably scrapped a few for my daughter's album and threw the rest away! HA! I guess I will have to use one I have or take a new one to be printed. JCI!!! |

I printed out my pics today. I decided that I'm glad I didn't do the scrap exchange, because I'm having trouble finding scraps. LOL. I tend to use every last tiny piece of paper. Luckily I had some paper left over from the junk journal pages. |
