11/14 So last night as I couldn't sleep because of stressing over these, I had this epiphany that I need to eliminate some stress. So I will be finishing the swaps I am in/hosting currently and then I will be taking a major step back from swapping. So if any one wants to take up hosting another twinchie swap go for it.
With that said, I will be swapping these out on Friday (the soonest I can get to them) and mailing Saturday regardless of who is here and who is not here. I am currently still missing 3 packages. Any packages that arrive after that will be marked return to sender. I feel that I have extended the deadline way past what I should have on these and feel particularly guilty that Thanksgiving may now be late for most people in those groups. I had some swappers who spent up to $40 on postage to have these here on time and it is not fair to those swappers and all the other on time/early shippers to continue to hold these. Please accept my apologizes in the delay of this swap.
9/20 - It seems we have had a lot of late shippers and delayed swaps on the board as of late. Because of the specific holidays these are for I just wanted to stress how important that these are shipped on time. These are due to me on Nov 9. Please plan accordingly.
If you feel you can not full fill the swap, please let me know asap and I will angel the spots. It does not make you a flaker if you have to step down, but it does make you a flaker if you don't notify myself and the rest of the people we are swapping with.
Hope this doesn't sound harsh or b#$^&y but I just wanted to put this out there.
So I have the go ahead from our amazing hostess of our current twinchie swap, Crycket, to get this one started!
A Twinchie is a two inch decorated square. It is a small little piece of art. What we do is create 9 identical twinchies with a specific color or theme for each spot you sign up for.
DUE DATE
These will be due Nov 9th - I am being strict on this deadline so I can get them back out to you in the mail before the week of Thanksgiving.
CREATING
* Size 2x2 (2 inch by 2 inch). Please be sure to measure twice before cutting if you are using a personal cutter or trimmer. There are 2 inch square punches out there. We will make then in groups of 9. Please mail them ALL to me, even your own. You are welcome to sign up for more than one spot.
* Use only high quality cardstock as the base and at least one other kind of paper. Must include two embellishments or more. Do your best work! Decorate only the front.
*I posted color inspiration links next to each category, but you do not have to use the paper line that is suggested there.
SHIPPING
* Please put all of the twinchies in one ziploc bag and label them with your pname and real name, category. This is important!
* Please send enough postage for me to mail back and an envelope with your mailing info. If you wish me to send them back to you in a flat rate mailer then send $5.15. If you would like DC, please note that in your package and send extra $.85 and I will be sure to put DC on it. These are relatively small. They should fit in a 6x9 mailer.
***If you are signing up for multiple spots, please add the same amount of return postage as what it is costing you to send as you will be receiving that same amount back!!***

frog girl - I personally like to frame them here are links to a few I have framed.
Valentine This one was not from a swap, I made this one myself.
Craft room This was from the round that Andrea hosted (please don't be mad that I altered a few to match my pink, black and white craft room  )
Watermelon's I needed just a little something more to go with my front door display so I only framed 2 in the theme I have up right now. The top is also from Andrea's swap the bottom is one I made myself.

Quick question about santa and reindeer. I had in mind each of us would pick a reindeer (dasher,dancer,prancer,vixen,comet, cupid,donner,blitzen) and somebody would have santa. Is that right? And do we need to claim the reindeer? If so i'd like comet. | |

I figured for Santa and his reindeer that we would just have a lot of representation of that. I have a cute stamp of him flying his sleigh with all his reindeer. My mom was going to do Santa's belt.
