This is a page kit swap for very detailed page kits. You will make 4 page kits for each group you sign up for. Each page kit will consist of 3 handmade pieces and some coordinating paper. These are not on background paper. Please read these instructions carefully as I won't police your work so I expect you to follow these directions. Please ask if you have questions.
Please check in weekly on this thread. If I don't hear from you, I will peamail you. If you don't respond, I will look for someone to fill your spots.

Please bag each kit separately and label with your peaname and group.
Each kit must include the following:
1) 2 different pieces of coordinating paper - each must be at least 4"x6"
2) 3 handmade coordinating pieces (must have at least two layers of paper) - titles, borders, photo mats, tags, journal boxes, etc.
Each kit must also incorporate one selection from EACH of the following 5 groups into the kit pieces (these are the minimum requirements - you may add more):
Group A - choose one to use in your kits
fabric
felt
mesh
burlap
chipboard
other textured item - ask if you are unsure
Group B - choose one to use in your kits
dry embossing
heat embossing
stitching
handmade stick pin or beaded charm
handmade multi-layer flower
paper piecing with at least 5 pieces
other technique - ask if you are unsure
Group C - choose one to use in your kits
inking
tearing
sanding
paper rolling
stamping
misting
paint
border punch along at least one entire side
Group D - choose one to use in your kits
ribbon
lace
wire
bakers twine
jute
hemp
Group E - choose one to use in your kits
at least 3 buttons
at least 3 brads
at least 3 eyelets
at least 3 jewels
at least 3 flowers
at least 3 embellishments of another type - ask if you are unsure
For example - I make a title, journal box and photo mat each with 2 layers of paper that I have misted (my choice from group c) and machine stitched the edges (my choice from group  and embellished with chipboard letters (my choice from group a), ribbon (my choice from group d) and at least 3 jewels (my choice from group e). I make 4 sets of these and bag each separately along with the required pieces of coordinating paper for each person.

I'd like one of each spot (boy, girl, holiday, season & anything goes), Halloween in group 3, and Fall in group 4. I do have a question. Do all of the embellishments need to be attached to the journal box, title, etc..., or are we allowed to add embellishments to the kit that will be added other places on the page by the person putting the page together? For example, if I use three buttons, can I put them in a baggie to go with the kit so that the ladies can add them where they want on the page. |

Also, can we combine things, like if I wanted to make a multi-layered flower out of fabric, or mulit-layered flower that I stamped on? Will those count as 1 or 2 of the embellishments? |

Hi Meleah,
The required embellishments need to be attached to the kit. You can put in extras if you are feeling generous for use elsewhere
As for combining, I am ok with that. I would like these kits to look like a lot of effort was put into them |

I am staring to plan these out and I have a question? On the elements (title, border,etc.) Do all five sections have to be represented on each element. I have Thanksgiving and I want to make a felt turkey, does that turkey have to be on the journal box, title and border. Or can I do a felt turkey on the journal box and not on the other two. I am worried that on some things five items will look fabulous but on others it might be over powering. I am the most worried about the first section. |

No, they don't have to be on all pieces. Just used in your kit somewhere. Although in some cases you may want them on all the pieces. If you are inking some pieces, probably ink them all You are correct about the items in group one though. They might not work on all your pieces. Use your judgement on what you think works best for your particular pieces |
