I'm sick... but sitting at the computer because laying down makes me sicker...

Anyways! Silhouette's featured artist right now is Donna Downey. My brain is a little hazy, but I'm pretty sure she's the one that wouldn't give one of our Peas a refund.

Help my fuzzy brain. Thanks.

She did, but only after a lot more hassle then she should have had- and only because DD was shamed into doing so.

This has been hashed and re-hashed here. I know there was a big fuss about her. Try a search with her name in the thread title and I'm sure it'll come up. It's been a while though, but not a year I don't think. Those threads grind it to a pulp.

That is correct, lemming.

I'll be a lemming just this one time. I'm not usually a boycotter, but this left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Plus, anything that helps me spend less money is OK in my husband's book!

OK, that's what I thought. I remember reading the threads originally, but sort of gave up on them when they took on a life of their own! lol

I am glad the pea finally got her money back, and I agree she shouldn't have had to go through that hassle (from what I remember, she was ill and certainly had an understandable extenuating circumstance.) I don't buy much stuff from DD, but not sure after this amount of time if I would still boycott her. But do have to admit it negatively altered my view of her.

Everyone screws up. Everyone. Not everyone screws up in front of a huge message board like 2Peas though.

Here's the whole sordid mess: so I have to have surgery Tuesday and Inspired doesn't give emergency medical refunds

From the OP's final update (#4), sounds like everything was finally resolved. I bet Downey learned a LOT from this experience and is probably a much better business person because of it. *fingers crossed*
