I have been doing WW since June with good success. Last night I went through my closet and cleaned out all the clothes that no longer fit. I kept a few favorites that I hope I can have tailored. But, almost everything else bought pre-June 2010 was pulled out.

I have 2 bags of clothes that are too worn/old to donate and need to be trashed.

I have 2 bags of clothing to take to the new plus-sized consignment shop in town.

I have 5 bags of clothing to donate to my friend who is also losing weight and a size behind me. I have previously given her 1 bag.

I still need to clear out a tote of summer clothing, my coats from the coat closet and my dresser. My closet is so empty looking! Dh is making plans to invade all the new empty space on my side of the closet now.

My current wardobe consits of 8 long sleeve t-shirts, 2 sweaters, 2 pairs of jeans and four pairs of yoga pants (all recent purchases.) Oh, I did keep the pair of pants and the t-shirt that I wore to my first WW meeting...just for fun.

Congratulations!

Are you excited to hear about the new plan next week? (I hear it will be up on the website on Sunday). Our leaders have been having excellent success with it so far.

Congratulation!

You benefit and others benefit

Don't let dh invade, lol! Start a shopping list with pictures and post it on your side of the closet.

Congrats Cindi & Scraphollie27! Keep up the good work!

I cleaned out my closet a few weeks ago, but I am too chicken to get rid of the clothes that no longer fit. I boxed up all the too big clothes into plastic tubs according to size and they are now at the top of my closet. I am feeling confident that I won't, but am still a bit worried that I will gain the weight back. I think I will wait until I get to my goal weight before getting rid of it all.

Thanks guys!

Congrats Scraphollie27! I remember how good I felt when I hit that mark...I cried tears of joy.

BF - yes, I am looking forward to the new plans. I normally weigh in on Saturday morning, but have a conflict this weekend. So, I plan on braving the Sunday 9:00 am meeting.

WOOOHOOO!!! That's awesome!! I own 1 pair of pants from my "original" size...everything else has been given away. I've slowly rebuilt my wardrobe. I'm not done losing yet but I desperately needed some stuff!

You go girl!!!

I've lost 110 pounds and have a wardrobe with not much more than what's in yours. I've packed two big boxes to send to a friend who is a couple sizes behind me and given a ton of stuff to charity and my dd. I'm not done losing, although it seems I've been on a hiatus for the past several months.

I saved the size 28 capris and the size 30/32 tank top that I practically lived in the summer before I started my weight loss journey...they have provided for a lot of funny moments and pictures!

Congrats on your weight loss! What a great feeling to shed all those too-big clothes!

Spring of 2009 I had lost 19# with WW. I cleaned out my closet and got rid of the too-big things about a week before I got pregnant. Let me tell you, not having the bigger size clothes after the baby was born in February gave me the motivation I needed to drop the baby weight fast.

When my first was born, I just started wearing the bigger clothes in my closet and it took me 5 years to drop the baby-weight. With my second, I went back to WW right away. I had to stay in the maternity clothes until my regular pants fit...so I made sure that happened quickly!

10 Big Black Trash Bags...

For just a second it crossed my mind that you were getting a very early start on the "2peas 12 Days Post-Christmas" thread.

Seriously though, congratulations Cindi! Well done on the weight loss as well as decluttering and helping somebody else.

keellel your weight loss story was one of the things that helped motivate me to get serious...so thanks! And, congrats on your loss! I still have a long way to go, but I am determined not to gain weight back and getting rid of the clothes helps keep me on the right track.
